How long would you wait in line for X?

Doubt It will be open when I go there in August. If that someone looks out for me and it is open...I will wait 5 hours max.

Since I live pretty close to MM and have been on all the rides a bajillion times,(bajillion?) I would wait for this ride all day. Probably go with multiple people. Have two stay in line and let the others go ride whatever they want to get on. Then switch places in line. If the line is that long which I seriously doubt. I think the wait will be about 3 1/2 to 4 hours long max.

I can't really stay in a line for more than 2 hours.

This activity you describe is called "line-jumping". In most parks this is an illegal activity that can have you thrown out of the park. We here at coasterbuzz do not endorse this activity.

I doubt opening day lines will be too long for X. I went opening day for Goliath and Riddler's Revenge, and the longest I waited on either of those days was 20 minutes. Get there before the GP has a chance to find out what cool rides they are. I know it's not Six Flags, but opening day for Ghostrider was a walk on all day. One month later it was commanding 90 minutes lines!

I went on Ghostrider opening day at like 4, and it was down the stairs and through all the que up stairs, and it was like a 50 minute wait. Parlous Plunge on the other hand was a walk on opening day and that was on a Friday, and Ghostrider opened on a Tuesday. Go figure

But for X if it looks good (which I know it will) I'd wait maybe 2.5-3 hours max

Maybe my memory fails me. I know I was there on a day close to opening, I guess not opening day itself. I was at Goliath's and Riddler's opening day for sure, though.

2 hours.

To beat this, I'd get to the park before they open and "run with the bulls."
If its broken in the morning and a long line forms, then I would skip it because I have to fly there and don't have the time to spend an entire day hoping the ride opens.

Yeah, I'm with everyone else who thinks the ride won't open until late August or September.

Did you all know that the last full week of operation at SFMM is the last week of August? After that it's weekends only.

The way things are looking, I may scrap my entire trip and wait until next year.

Seeing as how this it the first production coaster of its type it will probably suffer from frequent breakdowns causing the line to be pretty long.

I would wait as long as i take to get on this coaster.

If they were having XLC type problems, it would benefit you to stay in line, because everybody gets out of line when they say it's down, and it makes for not too bad of a line when everybody else hops out. California, though, if I were making that trip to MM I don't think I'd wait in line for "X", I'd just be happy to be there. I'm adding "X" to the following list: Stratosphere Space Shot and the little coater that goes around the building top, two rides I will not get on, plus "X", nobody is dropping me on my head, not even Arrow. All the other coaster nuts can have it, the concept absolutely chills me........

Are some of you serious, about waiting upto 5hrs to ride X or even All day, you have got to be joking.
My Maximum waiting Time is 1hr(Maybe just a little bit over) Personally, I dont care what kind of RollerCoaster it is, or even if its a world first, I would never queue over 1 hr for any roller coaster, Its just not worth it, IMO no RollerCoaster is worth riding if it has over a 1hr wait.

Well, thats my opinion, Some of you may like to wait longer, but I think its pathetic waiting that long to ride something.

If I was traveling a long distance I would spend my entire day at the mountain to ride "X". NO MATTER WHAT.

3 to 5 hours. It will be like Millennium Force, but longer, since the ride will open near the Los Angles (sp) area, Duh!!!! Im not saying that in a bad way but the popluation there is HUGE!
