How long would you wait in line for X?

In reality, I belive that the line will reach upwards of 6 hours. Thats what Colossus reached when it opened back in 78. Granted, there are more rides in the park. But X will be a big draw. Its the very 1st thing you will see when you enter the park. That along will draw masses. Anywho, getting back to how long I will wait. I would wait all day if I had to.

As long as it takes

2 hours max. There ARE ways of not having to wait so long, like getting to the park early, and going on the weekday. I'll bet any of you that I will never wait more than 2 hours for this or any other ride. Never have, never will. Not even MF.

Be careful what you ask for, cause there is no chance in hell your going to get it! *** This post was edited by DWeaver on 6/27/2001. ***

Well, thats my opinion, Some of you may like to wait longer, but I think its pathetic waiting that long to ride something.
Sounds like somebody woke up on the wrong side of the queue this morning! Anyway, if you REALLY like coasters, I think you'd make the sacrifice to experience something like that. Heck, I've even heard of one of two folks around here making special trips to far away places just to ride coasters. If you think doing stuff like that to ride roller coasters is pathetic, then maybe you are choosing the wrong company. Sheesh!

Forget about it. It can't be THAT bad!
It all Depends how Good it is

I too will wait "as long as it takes." I also plan on making numerous strategic early appearances and run with the bulls. Hopefully once X is actually open, it will open in the morning, and not mid-afternoon.

It will be nice to see people run to the left for a change, instead of to the right toward Goliath.

"X" marks the spot in 2001!
As long as the line is. But I won't get to ride it knowing i live in Ohio!
An hour, maybe less. By the time I get there, it'll be old news and easy to get on!

But how will you know how good it is unless you ride it? Are you going to base your maximum wait time on what other people say? With a new ride like this, I'm not going to trust anyone's opinion but my own.

And the longest I'd wait is about 2 hours, because I don't get to go there too often and would much rather enjoy the rest the park has to offer than wait in line for one ride the whole day. But of course, I'd do this because I know I'd be coming back. If it's your first visit to the park, I'd say don't wait too long. If you know you're not going back for a while and you've been on most of the other rides, well, it would just have to be your decision.

Life's too short to mind,
Just keep on with the sweet up and down
1 hour. Nothing Arrow is worth more ;).

2-3 hours, mabey more.
a very long time
Well X capactity is 1800 per hour so the line for the X should go really fast and with 3 trians i think. So the wait should be like any normal ride in the park or perhaps faster, since the area near Viper is pretty quiet.

Eric of Six Flags
The area near Viper won't be quiet anymore once X opens. But the capacity for the ride should be pretty good.

There is no such thing as inner peace. There is only nervousness and death.
I'm only going to wait in line for about a minute since i'm going to sleep in my car and be the first one in the park when it opens. BTW, check out this crazy rumor. "I'm sorry I'm still doubting this.

I know that you follow SFMM so I have some news. Both the coasters shall be opening together on the 21st of July. The rides are both behind so SFMM decided to do one huge opening with no press day. I can't wait!!!!!"

Maybe Deja Vu but not X.

I think once the track is complete, the testing will take at least 3 weeks. Since the track seems pretty far from complete, I doubt it will open 3 weeks from today.

How long will I wait in line? I've been waiting for 6 months! What difference does it make whether I'm in a queue or at home!

I do love RollerCoasters and I love them even more now than I did maybe 10 years ago, but the simply fact is, I will not queue up more than a hr to ride any coaster, I have learned that queueing upto 2hrs+ to ride something which lasts about 3 minutes is a waste of time, Its so much easier to stroll round the park and find something else which has a much lower queue and risk coming back later in the day when the crowds have spread around the park(this normally works 90% of the time too, Well for me it does anyway)

Also, I am not saying Travelling Long Distances to ride Coasters is Pathetic(there is nothing wrong with that) what I meant was, queueing upto 6hrs for a coaster is pathetic(IMHO anyway) I actually recently travelled from England just go to Ohio to check out the 3 main parks there, and as always I never queued up for anything that was over 1hr(MF was my longest wait of the holiday at 50 mins) I even refused to queue up for X-Flight later in the day at SFWOA because of a near 2hr queue and yet, I absolutly loved the ride(I still managed 2 rides though)

Like I say, I am not really trying to say any people are stupid for queueing up that long for a ride, I am just saying that IN MY opinion, I would never queue up that long for anything, And that includes the likes of X,Goliath etc.
