How long would you wait in line for X?
I would wait as long as the line was. This was the coaster I was waiting to be developed for years. I had this type of ride in my mind so therefore I would wait all day. I would have to travel over 2000 miles to get there so I would spend at least 3 days there and use my SFGAdv season pass to get in. I would never go to a good park like SFMM for only a day. Then on the second day, if the line for X is a day, I would ride the other rides then.
I'm with you there Paul. But I have never *had* to wait that long.

2)I get to the park very early
3)I only go to parks on weekdays or Sundays.
4)I'll make the decision to ride or pass based on how long the line is, how many trains, my patience level ect.

Didn't mean to bite your head off there, just seemed just a little snobbish to call all these folks who wouldn't mind waiting a really long time for a short ride "pathetic". Me thinks you could have put that a little nicer.
As far as attending on a weekeday, some of us hold down 9-5 jobs and live far enough away from parks that we are stuck going on weekends most times..and Sundays can be crowded too!
I agree that waiting in a long line depends on a lot of factors...but I'd definitely wait a long time to ride it the first time. After that, it depends.

I'd wait be out there waiting now if I wasn't working during the day. I can never get enough of that ride.

I have lived out here 10 years and have yet to find one person who thinks triple digit heat is too cold. I would rather put my money on the fact that you would be too hot. :) Anyway, I hope this does draw big crowds, because after I get on it on media day I will be able to enjoy the other 13 coasters with small waits, I hope.
