Looks like we'll get a release date of January 10th, 2014...

I had to check the specs for my Mac to see if it will be good enough, and even though my computer is four years old, I am surprised to see that they will be more than sufficient. I'll probably get it a few day after it is released to hear of any glitches first.
Oh yea, and IT LOOKS AMAZING!

^ Yea which should be this year as that post was made last October. As of right now the Windows release is a little behind. I am worried about the lack of Testing on this as far as I know he didn't have any Beta Testing on it and it was tested on only the developers computers per that October Post. I am betting there's gonna be a ton of bugs that pop up because of this. I just hope it works on my Computer. I'm planing on getting the full Pro License, so I can have every feature and no nagging to upgrade.

Now that you mention it, I do remember that I read that the Mac version would come out (next year) Darn!

Macs are PC's as far as the hardware goes, and the CPU's are all built to handle virtualization. Before too long, this very site will run on a VM. Yes, they use the 3D hardware. I do all of my dev work on a Windows 8 VM running on a Mac. You can't tell the difference.

I appreciate the advice, Jeff, but I don't even like Windows. I have a perfectly find OS right now. I'd have to pay about $100 for it, and wouldn't use it all all except to run a few games. It just doesn't seem worth it to me. RCT3 is available for $9.99 at the Apple App Store right now, but I keep putting off buying it because I don't know if I would have time for it or if it still has the problems everyone complained about in the past. NL2 will eventually be available, so I'll just wait.

Yeah, I'm trying to avoid the inconvenience of having to reboot to switch between OS's if I can, but that would definitely work. I've heard that Parallels still doesn't work quite as well, for newer graphic intensive games, as running Windows natively does. So I'll definitely have to test it out and see if the performance is acceptable.
Travis, even if you do get Parallels, you still need to purchase a copy of Windows as well, so it's more like a $200 investment.
It will be interesting to see how the Mac version compares to the Windows version this time around. I have ample experience with both versions of NL 1.0 and always found the Mac version's interface more user friendly and easier on my eyes.

I doubt there's any truth to that.

$200, AV? Not worth it to me. I think the only thing I can't do on my Mac that I want to is play RCT2.
I just upgraded from the very old Leopard to Mavericks. It was quite a chore, because I had to first order a Snow Leopard disc through the mail and install that, then download Mavericks in the Mac Store. I am having a hoot with the Mac Store at my disposal now though. Mavericks is well worth the time, effort, and money that I put into it. Now I have to upgrade my RAM from 2 to 4, and I'll have my computer maxed out for the next few years.
Sorry to ramble. I don't have any friends. lol

From the Parallels website:
"Proven Performance
With improved battery life, up to 1GB of video memory, enhanced security, and more Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac features the best overall performance and stability in the market."
I think that limitation of 1 GB of video memory is what others were talking about. That said, 1 GB is double the minimum recommended requirement for NoLimits 2. I will find out this weekend.
