I can't tell whether it's an actual wood coaster like Outlaw Run or a hybrid like NTG and Iron Rattler and Medusa Mexico. Either way, what is up with the "let's see how ridiculous we can make the banking on this section" RMC philosophy?

In one of the renderings it appears to be the flatter Outlaw Run type track rather than the boxy I-beams. Plus, they're calling it a wooden coaster, unlike the iron-horsing of Medusa at SF Mexico, which they're calling "híbrida."

Looks cool but brief. Doesn't mean it won't be fun though!

Goliath? How many Six Flags coasters need to have that name? There are a lot of words in the English language.

However, this coaster looks fantastic. I love that it goes below ground more than a few times!

I think it's mostly about branding.

It's kind of like "Windseeker" - Easy to market and re-use the logo across the parks.

I mean, how many Disney parks need to have a Space Mountain, or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad? I mean, geez, there are more words in the dictionary. :-P

Yea. I know. It's already a trademark that they own. Also, it's a very large coaster, and the name fits well.

There's also more than one Thunderhawk, and there was more than one Steel Venom, too, right?

Oh, and let's not forget Dragon Wagon.

I've always wondered why people don't like it when coasters are given the same name, but have no issue with similarly named flat rides.

No one complains about Scramblers, Tilt-A-Whirls, Whips, Ferris Wheels, Enterprises, Pirates, etc.

Oh, I always thought that's why Kennywood re-themed/named their Enterprise to the Volcano.

And let's not forget GrAdv's dearly departed Spin Meister. And CP's Witch's Wheel, for that matter. These are the voyages of the flat ride Enterprise.
