I knew someone would say that. I'm just surprised it took so long. :-)

This week:
A little jostling in the bottom of the top 10 as Thunderhead and Phoenix trade spots.
Gatekeeper drops a few to #37, while Six Flags' wing coaster X-Flight makes its debut at #42.
The Beast gets a BeastBuzz boost and moves up a spot.
This week's big mover is Renegade. It jumped 6 spots from #36 to #30.
I'm finding that I am anything but "typical." Phantom's Revenge ranks below most if not all of the B&M hypers...? Someone's eating brownies!
It is nice to know that Phoenix just keeps getting more love....although sadly, reports from Elysburg are suggesting that it may drop a notch or two before season's end.

One entry this week, Prowler at number 7! That's a pretty impressive debut. I haven't ridden it but I am wondering, for those who have ridden it, if they consider it worthy of a top 10 ride?
Taste is subjective, but for me, I wouldn't put Prowler in my Top 10. It definitely deserves a spot in the CB Top 100. It is a woodie, after all, and there are 73 woodies in my Top 100. (There would be more, but I've only ridden 73 woodies! I'm a little surprised to see only around 30ish woodies on that list)
Prowler is a fun, solid ride, with good speed, and night rides had a great atmosphere. I'd put Prowler in my top half of woodies, maybe top third. But if mentioning "Worlds of Fun" and "Top 10" in the same sentence, I have to give love to my fave coaster in the park, Timberwolf, which indeed contends for my Top 10.
Timberwolf is MUCH more physical and aggressive than Prowler, which for my taste, is a Very Good Thing! More importantly, the airtime on Timberwolf is MUCH more potent than on Prowler - both in frequency and forcefulness - Timberwolf just has more of those moments where for a split second I feel like I would surely be tossed out of the train if the lap bar and seatbelt weren't there to keep me in.
These are the type of moments that make me say "YES!!!" with excitement while riding, without even consciously realizing I am saying it. These are the type of moments that really make a coaster memorable for me, and keep me riding again and again. And Timberwolf delivered the goods, big time!
So this week no new debuts and nothing moving more than 3 spots - most notably Prowler dropping from 7 to 10.
Time for the offseason slow down to creep in?
Mostly it's time to start complaining about what Cedar Point is doing for 2014.
