Where'd I say $5.99 was a credit card fee?
I took it from this:
"I picture a future where your credit card is tied to your phone...but if there's a $5.99 processing fee each time you use it, it won't work."
Not sure why it'd be an Accesso fee and not a credit card fee inside the park. I tend to think it wouldn't be accessing the net to purchase from a third party run site, it'd be tied more to the card - like any credit card transaction within the park. I had responded as if I had filled that blank in.
Ahh, I meant more like an Accesso (or insert X company) app / mobile site for Cedar Point (that would access the net) where you could buy stuff in the park while waiting in line, for example. If you were waiting in line for Magnum, you could buy your Skyscraper ticket. Then after riding Magnum, walk right over to Skyscraper, scan your phone, and ride.
Then maybe a bit farther into the future, you could place your order and pay in advance at the stands and restaurants throughout the park. A window cashier could be replaced by a machine where you'd scan your phone (which would bring up your order), and employees could quickly fulfill it.
If the execution was right, this kind of thing would be so convenient that I'd surely spend more money in the park. But yes, I'm sure digital wallets will become more widely adopted as well.
Uh-oh.
Says "no packages found" for me.
I haven't snagged my tickets yet either. Gonna be a Gonch-less BeastBuzz if we can't still buy them.
Talked to Jeff. Working on getting it back for those of us still needing to grab tickets.
The new deadline is August 3... please don't wait that long!

My apologies if this has been answered before, but if I wind up rolling in to KI later in the day, am I still able to register? I know it's kind of a dumb question, but I'm flying home from Vegas into CLE and landing at Midnight. Barring any delays and being obnoxiously tired, I am going to try and get down there on time, but it's 4-ish hours, so I want to make sure I don't miss out if I get in late.
