BeastBuzz 2013: The triumphant return!

I don't know that there's any "registration" per se, as long as you've bought tickets.

Okay, that's fine with me. I snagged my tickets already, so as long as I make it there before 10 or 11, I'll be happy. Thanks Jeff.

Given the itinerary, seems like you wouldn't be missing much in the morning and could just hit up the lunch that begins at 11:30 and slide right in.

I do believe you mean sprint right in, right?

I would like the behind the scenes for the train, but it's not the biggest deal in the world, I suppose.

I have a couple questions about Beast Buzz.

First off, if I ordered a Coaster Buzz membership today, would it be delivered to me by August 10th in time for Beast Buzz? Also, if I had a parent with me as a guest, would we only need to pay the price of a ticket for them, if that's what I understand from the info?

Anyone participating in the event needs a ticket by today.

I requested off next weekend, and even added vacation time, but it didn't get approved, apparently for no good reason either. My work "department" is small, and only a few people can do my job, but it could have still worked out. Two people are off next weekend, and they didn't request it. They said that they would work for me, but I would have had to get my supervisors to mess with the schedule a little more than normal to get it to work, which would take more time than they are willing to put into it.

I had planned to attend BeastBuzz for months now. I purchased my CoasterBuzz membership just because of BeastBuzz. Same for my CF platinum pass. I requested off that weekend early. I did other things in anticipation for this event, like an oil change and car wash, new clothes, ect.

It just isn't meant to be this year, I suppose. It seems like it never is. On top of that, I am in the middle of being off work for many days in a row now, and tomorrow and Sunday I will be traveling very close to Cedar Point, Wildwater Kingdom, and Waldemeer Park. I've been wanting to get to Waldemeer for a very long time now. I have been trying to get myself to at least one of these parks this weekend, but I'm not the one driving, and it's not going to happen. The whole point of this trip is to see a family member for a few hours, and then we will be grocery shopping in Amish Country for the rest of the time. Grrrr...

Happy Travis is feeling down now. :( Thanks for allowing me to foolishly vent publicly.

But you got new clothes!

And the new clothes, like your Coasterbuzz membership, will last! The car wash, sadly, will not.

I'm going to miss finally getting to meet you, Travis, and I'm sorry you can't come. I was even going to promise not to stalk you...

It's okay. I will be there, so everything is golden.

Oh, goody! Cause I AM gonna stalk you...

Good, I like a good stalking every now and again.

Just look for the mopey, dopey turtle - or the guy yelling at kids to stay off the grass.

So what is the current head count for BeastBuzz? I was wondering how exclusive the ERT will be any how many others will be competing with me to hit all of the big full circuit coasters before lunch.

I think it'll be pretty exclusive. And you probably won't have to fight for beer at lunch either.

That is unless you drink too much of the beer. Then in that case you will fight over anything!

You know, the whole time I've been assuming that KI does morning ERT for season pass holders just like CP, but I've never actually done it so I just checked their website and it wasn't listed as a perk. Does anyone know if this is this case? The night time Beast ERT will definitely be exclusive, but will the morning Diamondback and Beast ERT be as well?

Platinum Passholders get in 1/2 hour early. Seeing as we will already be through the gate at 9:30, we will be at the front of the line. You should be able to swing 2 rides on Diamondback no problem. After ride 2 though you will likely need to make a decision on what you do next: do you want to be in a good position to head back to Firehawk/FoF at opening, or if you want to ride Diamondback again and get off a few minutes after 10. If you choose the former, you will likely have time to do a lap on the Beast.

Personally, if you like me want to ride Firehawk/FoF while at KI I highly suggest doing those two rides immediately after opening. A few weeks ago (on a Fri) I walked on to FoF (Firehawk was down,) when I departed the line was already out the door. Then waited about 2 min in front of Firehawk, and then they opened. I got 2 quick laps in 20 min (I dont think the GP realized that the ride was open yet as they saw the huge line at FoF and just assumed Firehawk was down.) When I left the are, Firehawk's line was >1 hour.
