RMC has successfully transformed Texas Giant and Rattler into high speed hybrid coasters. There are many rides with similar layouts to Texas Giant and Rattler. You know, those 1990's mega wooden twister coasters. The ones with their layouts without a ton of air time. Similar to them are Mean Streak, Ghost-rider, and Roar (At both Six Flags America and Discovery Kingdom). That's just to name a few. Anyway, I want to know which one is next. What will be the next wooden coaster to go hybrid?
It's called racing. Only Dragons duel. Oh wait...
The amusement park rises bold and stark..kids are huddled on the beach in a mist

I wonder if Mean Streak would get more riders if it was given the same treatment that Texas Giant was given. Is the rides unpopularity more because of location or is it more because of roughness?
It would be quite interesting to see how people would respond to a "New Mean Streak."

The problem with Mean Streak is that it's not really that unpopular, especially in the fall with that haunt on the middle.

Yeah, I get where you're coming from. But it's not like people stop going to Cedar Point if Mean Streak closes. There's still a lot of other rides the GP considers better-Maverick, MF, TTD, and Wicked Twister.
