Michigans Adventure is exactly what Geauga Lake should of been.

Barren of any trees, hot concrete and mediocre-at-best rides?

I thought that's what Geauga Lake was?

Josh, is that the Bobby Fuller Four or the Clash?

I prefer the former..and I've actually got a copy of the 1966 record.

Very nice riff, my friend.

The amusement park rises bold and stark..kids are huddled on the beach in a mist

If you need proof check out my Michigan's Adventure photos in the Trips galleries. I'm parked mid Timbers, if you know what that means.

Sure, offer 'proof' and then throw the indecipherable term 'mid Timbers' at us as if we're all rocket scientists. Not buyin' it, man...there's no way anyone walks in the hot sun at this park.

"Mid Timbers" is quite a ways out in the parking lot. Seriously, with all the complaining you guys do about CP, you're going to pick on someone for complaining about MiAdv????? Sorry, I gotta side with Timber Rider, most of his points are pretty valid. We may be the only two enthusiasts in W Michigan :P

No, they aren't valid. He wants more/better/whatever, and it doesn't make sense for the company to invest more than they already do when it's already hugely profitable, with the best margin in the chain.

Michigan's Adventure is a great park! I often find myself enjoying that park more than Cedar Point simply because I'm not trying to cram everything in. It's a leisurely stress-free day. Of course, it also helps that it's only 2 hours away. :)

Wasn't an insult, just an observation. :)

Most of the time, when I make fun, I am laughing with you and not at you. We are all standing in a big circle and having a conversation. Don't take it personally.

Except for two or three on here, I probably hang out with any of you, as long as you are willing to put up with me.

I might even agree to hang with Timber Rider at a non-Michigan's Adventure park, as long as he didn't complain about Michigan's Adventure the whole time. I, in return, would not complain about having to pay for front-of-the-line access.

We all have our "thing".

^^Travis, the period goes inside the quote ;)

It took me a long time hanging out on here before I started to take stuff with a grain of salt, and realized most people aren't trying to be mean - they are just playing around.

Everyone, including my boss when I worked at the newspaper, always reminded me that the period goes inside the quotes, but I was alway taught in school that it doesn't if the sentence started outside the quotes. It somehow changed while I was growing up, or my schooling was wrong, or something, and as hard as I try, I can't seem put an end to the old habit. lol

CoasterBuzz is the only place in my life that I can be mean- err I mean play around.

I think we have succeeded in hijacking this topic! :)

It seems like we've discussed this before, but I'm too lazy to googl--

Oh never mind... looking it up was faster than retyping it. :) Here's what I had to say on the matter last August. Same players, too.
