Then I'd be led to find out things like which is my favorite red sit-down coaster without OTSRs that is south of the 42nd parallel and in a park that offers season passes for less than $150.
New Texas Giant by a mile (I only know that because it's really close to the top of my list and the other ones don't qualify).

Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
As best I can tell, there are no opperating coasters south of the southern 42nd parallel. The applicable countries would be Chile, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand. All those countries have coasters. Just none south of 42.

I would love to see Kingda Ka dismantled as Cedar Point is my home park. It would be awesome to see Dragster back to being the tallest in the world again.CP would have the title again, but still lack a single 'great' coaster, arguably.
I know the golden tickets don't mean much to seem people but have you seen them? I agree Cedar point lacks a great woodie but they have 3 coasters in the top 10 (Milennium #1, Dragster #9, and magnum #10). Plus you have maverick at #21 and Raptor at #18.

I hear so much about "you gotta get to Cedar Point," etc, so now it's a little engrained in me.
A result of the saturation most of us have been exposed to at one time or another with this hobby. We all hear Cedar Point discussed probably more than any other park. However, there's a good reason for that.

Actually, I would probably have Maverick in my top 10. :)

You really don't want hugs from sixth floor patients.
No. No you don't. I try and stay as far from that place as I can. Bad things happen up there.
A couple of years ago, we had a semi-professional boxer that was locked up there, and this poor little 60 year old nurse came in his room to give him his meds, and he flipped. Split her face down the sides from forehead to chin, broken nose and whatever. She was off work for a pretty long time, and I think she came back and went into an office job.
I'm just going to assume all of them are dangerous, treat the situation as such, and not take any chances.
There was also a sweet old grandma who was prone to random outbursts of grabbing male staff and squeezing.
I hate going in there to fix stuff, and will avoid it at all costs - though it does have a "Smith Grove" feel to it, which makes it kind of cool.
