Interesting. If they build something compelling I may need to plan a trip back so I can finally ride The Voyage as well!
If The Voyage itself isn't a reason to visit, I can't imagine what is.

When you have a wife and riding partner who hated Legend and Raven it's just too far to go for one ride. That and I know the very next year they will announce something else worth riding so I can wait.
I'm no grammer Nazi. I'm just goofy sometimes. Everyone makes mistakes.
Edit - and my point is made... "grammar". :)

Does that mean it's already tired? I think next time, you'll have to zap the information in a psychic manner, directly to our brains. That would be awesome.

LostKause: Two words--Mandatory Preshow.Even worse, the day I was there it was about 90 degrees in the shade, and 115 in the un-air-conditioned Led Zeppelin pre-show hotbox.

Ditto - the were about 120 people in the sweatbox when we visited, and it took every bit of a half-hour to get on the actual ride. Thankfully, I've since ridden Terminator: Salvation and that made the memory somewhat less painful... ;)

I'm thankful to have only ridden both of those rides during ERT sessions. I still did the preshow. But, I wasn't crammed in like a canned tuna.

During the SFMM SpringCon event, they wanted us to walk all the way around and endure the extra half-hour when the ERT session was already coming to a close. Thankfully, we convinced them they could run a train or two for re-rides without enduring *another* nightmarish half-hour of sweating.
I only wish I could have made the HRP event - sounded like an absolute BLAST.
Back to HW (that's why we're here in this thread, LOL) - Zeppelin would be an absolute "steel steal". ;)

The following was posted on Twitter and Facebook:
"Thanks for some great Labor Day weekend family time. Holidog's FunTown is the best idea for families with little kids." To which I replied: "In that case ... I think you'll *really* like what we're adding for 2011!"
So, it looks as if the steel coaster will be a no-go this year. Anybody have an idea of what they will be doing for 2011. I hope that this will not be the only addition this year, as I imagine it will have no effect on a significant amount of park attendees.
Hoffman, I bet you read the bible like that too...pulling out only what you want to hear. Holiday World caters to families, and believe it or not, not all families are comprised of a single parent and a child under 54" tall. A lot of families actually have children that don't want anything to do with Holidog's Funtown. So any family with children over 4'6", probably don't want anything like Holidog's Funtown.
