I might take a trip down later in the year with some friends or something, but we're taking the dogs on a road trip and spending a couple of days at BGW.

What hotel are you staying at with your dogs?

LaQuinta Williamsburg. $79/night for a king room with fridge and microwave, no pet fee. It's been recently remodeled, and it looks really nice.

I found it on www.bringfido.com

Most La Quintas I've stayed at within the last two or three years have been very decent (and had been either just built or remodeled).

I'm glad to hear that. I've known them to be kind of hit or miss, but they've never been "bad", so to speak.

Apparently, it's just down the road from BGW, so it's not a far drive, either.

I was really hoping these were going to be the ball coaster restraints. That's what the PR Guy told the ACE'rs about a month ago at an off season construction tour.

I'm just happy they're not Premier or SLC OTSRs.

Raven, if you are talking about the La Quinta on Capital Landing, yeah that one does appear to look much better, least outside.. Though not in the best part of Williamsburg..

But I did hear from friends who have stayed there that it was a bit better than it was a few years ago and it puts you in between BG and CW..
