Kings Dominion openning day.

Yes, Moosh. I know there aren't enough blocks, which is what puzzles me. It wouldn't be a huge investment (given how much the ride already cost) to run it in an MF configuration (add an unload station and another train) and I can see it adding quite a bit to the capacity, especially if the ops are half decent and if the trains really only have the OTSR's and no seat belts or other restraining devices (and no loose items on the platform, etc. etc.).

First close up shot of the train and restraints on I305. http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs458.ash1/25186_11049...1621_n.jpg

This has to be one of the ugliest trains I have seen.

Yeah, those green seatbelts look uncomfortable.

Hi

It also reminds me of the the couple that were riding TTD wearing blue snuggies last year at CoasterMania.

What is up with the water bottle duct taped to the one dummies head?

He has no arms or hands.. How else is he supposed to drink?

I know you were trying to be funny but I'm sure there's someone out there who probably thinks they're part of the restraints. They are not. Just wanted that to be clear for anyone who was unsure (speak up...I know you're reading) ;)

Sorry Ken, I lost my original post when a customer came in which said "the first close up photo I have seen". Which would be true.

Ok Moosh you got me.. I just couldnt figure out how they could get the train out of the station fast enough with all those restraints.. I feel better now..

Dave: I figured thats what you meant.. Now still wondering what you meant by "my pictures all over" on page 2..

I have seen links to your photos on several different coaster sites. None have posted the photos, just links to your flickr page.

Found this little piece of intimidator speed.

Looks extremely fast, but also enough to make heart nascar, I mean race.

Ask not what you can do for a coaster, but what a coaster can do for you.

LOL...I love how whomever took that video keps focusing on the wrong coaster at the end (Vortex).

Well, it's likely that the camera was "autofocusing" on the wrong coaster.

Ha ha.

Those restraints look exactly like Maverick's. Brace yourself around those turns! It's seriously going to drive me crazy to drive passed Kings Dominion Friday and Sunday on my way to and from Busch Gardens.

We're doing the same thing in early May. I'm gonna want to stop, so badly, but I know better... Wife doesn't want to go to KD.

Make her go.

Luckily we are planning on going later in the year.
