Kings Island General Manager Greg Scheid said that the Son of Beast roller coaster, which was closed after an accident and a number of other problems, will not open with the park this year.

Yeah, the article is not about SoB, it's about the opening of the park under Apollo. Lame article, I agree. And of course, predictible.

"Considered" the tallest and fastest wooden? Either it is the tallest and fastest, or it isn't. There is no consideration involved.

Probably because of the headline. Most assumed it was all about SoB is my guess. That is what I thought when I read it but I wasn't going to say that it was a bad article. I found the part about Snoopy interesting. Oh well, can't please everyone, and by everyone I mean coaster enthusiasts. :)
