Canada's Wonderland's official site now has the names and logos (including Boo Blasters on Boo Hill with a mention of The Great Pumpkin) of some Planet Snoopy rides.
(user checks the photos mentioned)
No surprises there. Some of the worst PTC trains in operation look like they are not getting any better.

Surely any trademarked coaster needs its own logo. :)
Now THAT was funny! How long did that take you to make, birdhombre?
I want to complain about the new names and themes, but what's done is done. Having worked in Camp Snoopy at Cedar point, I know that kids will love it, and just maybe, hopefully, some of the warm fuzzies that CP's Camp Snoopy has will be translated well at Kings Island.

Here's something I just discovered that disgusts me. Go to Kings Island's web site, and click on the Planet Snoopy link. There's a really neato page crowing about how the Golden Ticket-winning best children's area is getting a freshening up with the Peanuts gang.
That in itself didn't bother me. (Hey, if your job is to sell pig excrement, then sell it somehow you must.) As the page activated, however, I began to hear this peppy, slightly jazzy piano music. Upbeat, lots of sixteenth notes. Hmmm. Sounds vaguely familiar.
Then I realized, they were playing something that was as close to the Peanuts theme song as they could get, without actually playing the song. Cedar Fair has licensed Peanuts for years, and they can't pony up to play Vince Guaraldi?
Makes me want to puke.

HAHA!
"I'm sure no one will notice" is something I can imagine someone saying while making the decision not to buy the rights to the song.

You generally don't hear any Vince Guaraldi music at Cedar Point, not even as area music, outside of the Good Time Theatre, which I assume is because of whatever licensing goes on with the ice skating shows.
Cedar Fair has never really utilized any of the Peanuts characters or music to the extent they could have. Just look at how much Universal Studios Japan does with the same property.
