Which were there the day before the new requirement. I'm pretty sure the cause and math is pretty obvious for them when it changes in one day.

Seems like it would be easily measurable but yeah, if there's been a recent, swift, significant impact then it seems like the recent, swift change would be a likely factor.
I know the economy has also been hurting the casinos here in CT. God forbid people who don't have anything better to do with their money actually have to hold onto their pennies a little harder instead of pissing them away in slot machines. But yeah the economic climate's change is still slower than a new law that's not in effect one day but is the next.
Except there was plenty of notice that passports would be required for US citizens traveling back from Canada-- and really, how many were traveling by air to and from the casinos in Windsor?
So meanwhile people whine about what a hardship it is to pay $95 for a passport that's good for 10 years, yet think nothing of dropping that same amount every month or week in whatever casino the bus drops them off in front of.
It does kind of make me chuckle when someone says they can't afford the Passport Card. It works out to what, $4.50 per year?
I agree with RGB, you aren't paying for the right to leave or come back to the country. You are paying for a legal document that identifies you as a US citizen. You can even use it for identification purposes right here in our own country without ever leaving. :)

True Carrie, but im not going carry around my $95 passport everywhere in the US when I have my drivers license in my wallet in order to be able to get around anyways and is the most common and acceptable form of ID.
But im just being literal Ken. ;)

Don't get me started about 9/11, the everlasting, never ending war on terror (a loosly defined and intangible idea), and what was really going on in the U.S. at the time. I believe that some conspiracy theories have some truth to them.

I didn't say that every crazy theory is true. I simply stated that there may be some truth to some theories. How does that warrant a remark like that?

NewPlusNotes reports that Kennywood will be retheming the Old Mill (currently Garfield's Nightmare) in the near future. The park's license of Garfield runs out after 2010.
It will be interesting to see what goes in its place. Whatever it is, I hope it's not too scary, or my daughter won't want to go on it until she's 37...

Garfield's Nightmare was in sad shape last visit, no 3d glasses anymore, our boat got stuck a few times...
I saw that on NPN. FANTASTIC NEWS! I want skeletons!

Directly taken from NewsPlusNotes about Garfield's Nightmare...
"When I asked Jeff (Public Relations Manager Jeff ’tsay in the long term, definitely a short term project. Can’t promisenext year but in the next two years you’ll have a different experience.""
Yes, it was just a comment, but it came directly from a PR guys mouth, who was speaking to a writer of an amusement park fan site.
Given the disaster that was the announcement of the unnamed "Caffeine: The Ride", is Kennywood's PR team losing it or what...especially when you think that what he is commenting about is possibly not true.
