Martling, last I was there was a few years ago, working at the ride. They still had a lot. Each year it seems that they take something small out though. I could go through the entire ride in my head and tell you everything that was there last I saw it, but that would just be goofy on my part. :-p
I am excited to here the announcement and get on with my life (even though I am pretty sure what it is). If the rumor is true, the cat will be out of the bag on Wednesday.

Like they need anymore fattening! I still firmly believe those carp are mutant, especially over around the Iron Dragon/Mantis area of the lagoon. ;)
But if you think the lagoon carp are weird, you should see the Perch that stay close to the MF green train wreck. Now those are some nasty fish!

I'm in the dark here. Please fill me in!
It's a joke I started years ago. Like the boardwalk project. I'm somewhere between proud and ashamed of creating misdirection so convincing that it has festered into fact.
Of course, the issue with creating good misdirection is that it also shares something with reality: It's usually the most obvious and plausible.
And the reality, in this case, is the most plausible. It has been guessed here several times. Some people just don't want to believe it.

^ So what you are telling us is it is a splash battle that will be interactive with pwe. Sounds like fun but I always wanted to see either a land of giants( Not going to happen with maxair on the other side of the park) or a looping coaster interacting with MF on the island...
Intimidator 305 the tallest most hated coaster nobody has ever ridden...
I think I accidentally deleted my last post, when I was really trying to edit for post delay!
I was trying to say that in Ohio water rides are good for only a portion of the season - fall and early spring can be too cold. And even though Cedar Point has pushed opening day back to the week before Memorial Day, a new water ride may not make such a "splashy" debut.
Although log flume strikes me as the most plausible, I'm gonna throw this out there anyways...
Ramble setting on:
Seems to me CF needs to order a batch of new dark rides, since they're de-Scoobying the ones in the soon-to-be-ex-NickU parks. Would it make sense, then, to do an additional installation of whatever dark ride they put in elsewhere, and simultaneously fill a void that's been at CP for a few years?
My initial thought was that it would be Peanuts-themed, accessable by PWE -- which is conveniently tucked in a corner of the Camp Snoopy area of CP -- but then I remembered that it was Whyte Lightenin' themed and realized probably not so much lol. However, it's possible that in their homogonization, WL could be the 'theme' installed at all parks... seems a bit odd to change a kids' ride to moonshine themed, though, lol. (Didn't somebody say WL had a Carowinds tie-in, though?)
And, like a doofus... I just realized that "Whyte Lightnin'" and "White Water Landing" are strikingly similar names. For what it's worth.

I would love a good log flume. I still miss the old one(s).
And, for what it's worth, the "log flume" season can be quite a bit longer than that for the other water rides, because you don't necessarily have to build one that gets riders wet.
