Cedar Point dropping hints for 2010

I believe the are the characters shooting at each other on Paddle Wheel Excursions.

Yes, the Canfield's and the McGee's are the two groups that are shooting at each other across the river while riding PE.

So the only thing I get from the tweet is that PWE isn't going anywhere.

Potentially losing PWE would bother me quite a bit. Most large corporate parks really drop the ball when it comes to quality rides kids, parents, and grandparents can all ride together and PWE is a shining example of a good one.

Aren't you guys are forgetting what the Canfield's and the McGee's have been feuding over?

I just had a thought about this. PWE takes riders past the fueding moonshiners, Canfield's and MgGees. These feuding moonshiners are based off of the Hatfields and McCoys, who were from West Virginia, just like the fictitious bottling company is from...

I'm very happy that they said that the Canfield's and McGee's are still going to be 'a' fuedin'.

The similarities that the new ride is going to have with PWE is still awfully peculiar though. ;)

I wouldn't exactly call PWE a "quality" ride as it is now, a mere shell of it's former self. Besides, CP still has a couple of carousels, a train ride, a Ferris wheel and a sky ride that whole families can enjoy. ;)

I wouldn't dispute that PWE used to be better but it's still a step above the other ones you mentioned. For a park of CP's size that's still a pretty meager and unremarkable selection, which I think proves my point, really. While I think CP deserves some kudos especially for having the transport rides it's still a piss-poor lineup compared to what they should have. But like I said that's just instep with the rest of the industry's pace.

The days of the Western Cruise and the "million dollar midway" area around it were simply the best......

I think that that depends on the quality of the boat captain that you end up with when you ride.

But I will agree with you a little bit, because it seems that the park removes more and more scenery each and every year.

By scenery, you mean "charm," right? ;)

Of course, if want to REALLY see some sights, just look around the area of Thunder Canyon and Sanke River on REALLY hot day!

There's a reason why the Group Utility guys I worked with in '05 called that area the "Bikini Run"

lol...

I meant that they have been removing scenery from Paddlewheel Excursions.

But, yes, the scenery at TC and Snake can be very nice sometimes. ;)

The winkie means nothing. I'm just going by the clues that we have so far.
