But so is the power of two (Gemini, 2 woodies, 2 arms on Skyhawk, 2 junior coasters), four (4 inverting coasters, 4 coasters painted red), five (five Arrows, 5 coasters that start with the letter 'M'), and six (6 Intamins, 6 tower rides).

[url][url]^^I have two children, I am going on an Erie vacation (Waldameer) twice this year. I went to Disney in Orlando twice in 2005, etc....

Is number 2 a divine number that can trump number 3 in real value? After all 2 is the first Prime Number and 3 is the second. If 3 is better than 2 , then what is 5, 7, 11...etc? Should I make 5 trips to Erie this year to better my numbers? (notice, did not say greater than)

Do not take my comments to seriously. I just found this funny as hell... Thanks for giving me a good time on yet another uneventful Sat night in my family years.

Disclaimer: I am referencing basic Number Theory in the math world. Not some cray superstition of numbers.I know many regular poster on the site will understand this... An probably beet the heel out of me on it. :) It has been 17 years since I studied numbers, damn that was another prime number. Maybe this is my year to shine. (also skipped 13 on purpose)

Four is the most magical number at any of the Cedar Fair parks.

I'll prove it. Pick the name of any Cedar Fair attraction. I'll pick Mine Ride as an example.

Mine Ride has EIGHT letters.

EIGHT has FIVE letters.

FIVE has FOUR letters...

and FOUR has four letters...

Try Millennium Force. It's FIFTEEN, which is SEVEN, which is FIVE, which is FOUR, which is four.

Did you just get chills?

Do it with any Cedar Fair attraction. It's a secret, magical conspiracy that has been a part of Cedar Point ever since the park opened a thousand years ago. ;)

And with all of these numbers they will be able to predict when the next coaster disaster will happen, but can Nicholas Cage save the day before it happens...... Oh wait, that was the movie Knowing.

Never underestimate the power of 3 and its influence in decision making and protocol. 2010 is shaping up to be no different.

Y - funny how it has 3 lines or sides huh?

"Bold. Exciting. Refreshing." and "lightning strikes twYce" - gosh even marketing is under the spell of the power of 3!

KD 1 CW 2 CP 3 - interesting how the emphasis was on 3 specific annoucements, no?

Best not mess with superstition.

PS. I really like the blue color used on www.whytelightning.com

You naysayers obviously never watched Multiplication Rock growing up. Everybody knows that "Three is a magic number." And it's not just celebrity deaths that come in threes, it's regular people too.

Now I can't speak for whether the powers that be @ CF believe that to the point where it influences their business decisions. If they happen to do things in threes and it works, more power to them. But I certainly would hope they don't do something stupid just because they have to do three of something.

Well if it were an Earnhardt flume, would it be filled with Budwieser or Vault?

None of the above. It'd be Mtn. Dew or Amp.

Conjunction Junction sure would make an interesting name to use in Frontier Town, no?

Power of 3 at work still :)

The full name of Cedar Creek Mine Ride is twenty-one bytes long. It is the second-oldest coaster in the park, so multiply by two and you get 42.

The total ride time on the Cedar Creek Mine Ride is 2:42.

The ride time on Disaster Transport is also 2:42.

The ride time on Gemini is 2:42.

42 is known to be the Ultimate Answer to Life, the Universe and Everything (Google said so). Coincidence?

Unfortunately nobody in management uses the power of 42, so sad.

The power of 3 reigns in 2010.

But that's also 3 instances of 2:42, am I right? ;)

After all, the computer said so.
