Cedar Point dropping hints for 2010

So what about this ride is going to happen twice? (i.e., lightning strikes twyce)

And why the "Y" in the name?

My only thought was perhaps a double-chuted flume like White Water Landing (the shape of the Y coming together to a common end-point).

Note to self. Don't call people on CoasterBuzz retarded. Calling people stupid or morons is acceptable. ;)

Doesn't anyone find it fairly odd that if this is a new coaster or flume that there really is nothing done so far? Normally at this point footers would start going in place, deliveries of supplies would be piling up in a parking lot, etc.

I also have to wonder about the Earnhardt licensing deal, so far we know of two parks for sure using this new marketing deal. There are some executives in management at Cedar Fair/Cedar Point who are VERY superstitious and always do things in three. Three picnic tables together, three trash cans near each other, three rides in a group, etc. Could it be that all of the clues so far in part point to Cedar Point being the third park to make use of this new licensing deal?

Hhhmmm.....

Anybody remember when HW began work on Pilgrims Plunge last year?

LOL. I was wondering the same thing, Mike.

^^

The CF deal with DEI was for Carowinds and Kings Dominion, not CP.

What?

Y2K = whyte lightning?

Yea, I've never heard of that superstitious "does everything in threes" crap before. Are you just making stuff up, Minem4s?

CP's new water ride is not going to be Dale Earnhardt themed. lol

The belief in the power of 3 does exist at Cedar Point, as it did at Geauga Lake & Wildwater Kingdom.

If I am lucky I see a couple hours of TV a week, usually CNN to catch up on current events.

This is not B.S. but B.S. will use the power of 3 in the park.

"Surprisingly enough, there aren't as many trolls as there used to be."

That's because there arent as many people who come here as there used to be.

Uh, that's not even remotely true. You don't have those stats.

Cedar Point better hurry up and make an announcement, if only to save this thread. lol

I agree LostKause, the future is riding on it.

Now we see why the green train had to "go away", it was jinxing the power of 3.

What in the world are you talking about? What is this power of 3's stuff you keep bringing up? Is Kinzel also the seventh son of a seventh son?

What 3's have they done, other than 3 Intamins in a row a few years back?

Weird.. I always thought the "comes in 3's" myth, only related to celebrity deaths.. Who would think it also relates to coasters and theme parks.

Yea celebrity deaths usally come in 3's don't get me started about the Kalamazoo Curse. Well if it were an Earnhardt flume, would it be filled with Budwieser or Vault?

It would only make sense to have 3 rides themed to the most famous #3 ever.

Intimidator 305 the tallest most hated coaster nobody has ever ridden...

Kinzel has 3 children...coincidence?

The power of 3 is EVERYWHERE on the Point. Its influence is undeniable. Look around closely and you will see for yourself. Respect it.
