Touchdown, are you saying Master Blaster is the tallest and fastest water slide in the world???

41 meters = 134 feet and 105 km/h = 65 mph or 95 feet per second.
Reg, You'd be even more impressed with Canobie now.
Over the past few years, they've worked VERY hard at upgrading the place AND maintaing the park.
In fact, in 2007, the overhauled the main gate and added that Huss Disk-o. The Cannonball is still running like a champ.

I believe each uphill section is a block. You are correct - both Noah's Ark and Schlitterbahn run their watercoasters on that same sort of blocking scheme...
I can see them releasing rafts so that they are over a block apart, but on coasters, there is a mechanism (block brake) to stop the trains in the other parts of the ride should a train valley. I don't think I'd want to hit a valleyed raft going 25 mph. Is there a way to stop the rafts? I presume shutting off the power must be sufficient.
Speaking of Canobie Lake, did they buy the starfish ride from geauga lake?
I was looking at Canobie lakes website, and saw a picture of a starfish ride and the only one I ever knew of was the geauga lake starfish.
After looking at the parks website, I may just have to visit this park....looks like a great park.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Well FINALLY!!! I'm getting you guys to give some love to my home park!
Anytime you come up, give me a shoutout.
Canobie is a kickin' little park. It's a true FAMILY park. They' got enough stuff for everybody, from gradma who likes the train & carousel, to enough stuff for the thrill seekers, like the Starblaster and the Yankee Cannonball. Plus, there's plenty of stuff for the kids.
A little advice: Get to the park about an hour before the published gate time. They start selling admission about 45 minutes before and open the gates about a 1/2 hour before. The rides START at the pubished times. Hit the YC first and a few more timmes throughout the day.
