A ride called "Driftwood?"
On Will Koch's twitter page it says "Getting ready to announce the *******. It's going to be the world's longest *********!!!! Exciting! "
Apparently it will be north of Bahari,
It's going to be 1/3 mile long,
It uses LIM technology (whatever that is)
Here I am waiting for the announcement thinking they are late, but just relized that there is an hour differance....lol
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
he "lifthill" isa conveyor. No "slide tower" of stairs! First drop is nearly 4 storiesat a 45-degree angle. Top speed = 36'/sec.
Seems like the page that was up last night was the real one and must have been accidentally up there.
the layout looks awesome....finally ride one in a full circuit mode. No walking up stairs!!! Love the idea of real tunnels. Can't wait till next year.
I'm sure it'll be fun, but it seems a strange addition when SFKK just added one.
I like how Holiday World can't just add something half-butted, it has to be the world's (insert adjective)
Okay, I take it back. I just watched the POV. That looks amazing!!
Working on the body this year more so I can be seen shirtless at a Splashin Safari next year and not make everyone want to run away in horror...
Looks good.
Holiday World has done it again! The layout totally blows me away. it looks way better than I thought it was going to be. I am surprised by the location. I thought they would've squeezed in around Bakuli and Kima Bay. But I like how it goes off into the woods. Can't wait until 2010!

^What's so bad about rolling with a sleeveless nylon shirt??
I'm already half way there dropping fat and building up muslce, now I just want to use some sort of motivation to finish it all up! Yay!
Come to think of it, its kinda nice they abandoned the Swahili terminology. I actually like the name Wildebeest. Friendly but fierce...I like how they have designed it to mimic a real roller coaster. I won't be surprised when this wins best new water ride.
What is capacity like for this type of ride? Do they only allow for a single raft after the lift or is there blocking involved? And what happens if a raft stalls out?
Looks really cool!
