Why anyone would waste that much time and effort on a ride like that. ;)
Seriously, I don't think he said it was mysterious. He was joking about taking that same amount of time for KoKu - which would indeed be mysterious.
Read it again, Mooshie. :)
Dang dangling modifiers...lol
It looks like fun for the kids, but I really wouldn't make a special trip for a kiddie coaster, but that's just me.

It's only 15 minutes, so it's not really a big deal to me.

I don't know how far it is from me now that I moved to WV. Probably about 8 hours. If I lived back in Altoona or State College, which is about 3 hours away from the park, I'd probably secretly make a special trip just to ride the new coaster, but I would still lie about it. :)

I have hearrd back from some friends (non-enthusiast) and they say they like KoKu more than HSTC. These were the same friends that though HSTC was the roughest coaster ever. Only complaint was that the cars are a little tight of a fit for larger riders, more so that HSTC was. Hopefully this next week I will get down to check it out for myself and to see if these rumors of the test vehicle running on Flying Turns are true.
Flying Turns news from Coastin' Steve on Usenet:
> according to my FT carpenter friends, the FT is still waiting on
> the "new" train for testing to continue. The original train chassis
> that they were working w/ , have become such a conglomeration of
> changes, <and won't be usable because of that> that they're looking
> for a more finalized train to continue testing w/
> But they're usure when that train will be delivered
So there you have it.
I'm not sure how great an idea having individual lap bars on Kozmo's Kurves is. I suspect that they're trying to get more kids on to generate more money on ticket days. The height requirement is 36", although I don't know whether that's to ride alone or with an adult.

I wonder how bad those individual lap bars are. I say that because HSTC was a tight fit for me but the Miler I rode in Ocean City, NJ last summer which had 1 lap bar for each row was fine. I even got 2 clicks on it.
