Looks nice. Is this an upcharge attraction like the other CF parks that have one? *** This post was edited by coasterguts 10/31/2005 11:37:38 AM ***

Let the complaining begin.

Personally, I think this will be a completely different experience from maXair and I'm looking forward to riding it.

Looks like anyone who was hoping that those piles of wood would be used to create a Frontiertown feel to the new ride will be dissapointed.

While you're waiting for CP's animation, you can always check out the Quicktime on VF's (shorter?) model...

I think it's a great idea. It's big but not too big, it's simple and it doesn't invert the riders. Like a family attraction with teeth.

The construction cam is now up.

I like the idea for the ride, but since we are getting the exact same thing (minus 3 feet) at VF, other new rides will take priority for my trips next season.

I like the name a lot. I'm not really sure why people would think it will be so similar to MaxAir. These screaming swings really boost up and away quite quickly. Huss Frisbees are more of a slow, powerful push.

Great. A ride named after a Buick.

I am having a hard time placing it, is it going where the Snake River Falls lockers are currently at?

I think the Buick name would be Skylark, not Skyhawk.

I can't recall what that building is to the left, with the ramp. I would think that would be the town hall or CCMR, but I don't remember it being that elevated.

The building on the left is the old Frontier Lift station.

According to the Skyhawk page it will go 60mph. The MaXair page says that it goes 70mph.

I can't recall that ever being there. Heh, its not used for anything is it? I guess I just never noticed it.

I like where they put it, but I think a wet top spin would have been nice right there. It seems slightly out of place.

maXair starts slowly and builds up speed. Skyhawk will get to speed much faster, and in a much smaller gondola, that 60 mph will feel much faster than maXair's 70 mph.

I think the point people are missing is how much less secure riders are going to feel on Skyhawk as compared to maXair.
