Paramount's Kings Dominion announced today their 2003 attraction: A 305-foot tall Intamin gyro-drop. The ride has not yet been named, but will open next spring. The Scrambler will be relocated to accomodate the new ride.
Update 6/21: The park today gave the following additional details:
Wait, If I am not mistaken, and I don't believe I am, all intamin drop towers are most definately not floorless. On intamin's website, there is a picture of a tower next to their desctiption of their multi-drop ride. While I am not sure what the ride pictured is, it appears to be a standup tower with a floor. As in, not floorless. Almost forgot the link: http://www.intaminworldwide.com/r_products_thrillrides.htm
