Now, why couldn't SFMM work like this in January? If they did, the ride would be nearly open. Then, SFMM would make even more money.

Uh maybe because NO ride pieces were delivered or at the park in January...seriously people...THINK. And because of California earthquake regulations, the footers had to have extra care taken into them, ergo the footer process was much longer than your average park, east coast let's say-where earthquakes haven't hit in practically 100 million years. Deja Vu was put up in 1 1/2 weeks whe all parts were delivered. That shows you how quick they can work. Only when they are ready and fully prepared that is.

for some reason, the drop doesnt look as big as i pictured it. it only looks about 150ft, but i know its really 200ft. weird

Admittedly, I don't know a whole lot about the cantilever system in place on X. But, in looking at the pictures, I can't spot where exactly the distance between the rails changes along the drop. Will the seats rotate or will you "land" on your back, in the same position (relative to the track) that you went down the drop in?

When is this going to open?

Those rails on Deja Vu make me think they made a boobo and forgot to put the trains on before they built the lift or front of the station. There isn't like a holding track were they can hold extra trains. Oh well it will open in a month or so.

That ride makes me look sick just looking at. Thing of how fast your going to be flipping, think of how many times youll be flipping.

Is there any possible way that Deja Vu will be open by July 6th? (Even though I highly doubt it)When is X expected to open?

Yeah, it looks kinda like the 1st MF hill. You look at it and think, "Gee, it's not that big." But then when you're up there, it's huge. And it's going under ground, wow, Six Flags is actually digging a trench. Yeah, I wish the first hill would go into the ground vertically, then pull out underground, but whatever.

See, we're all excited about this ride. More proof we want full length roller coasters.
Forget about simulators, and adventure rides. Give us height, speed, and a full length track with theaming.

CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY, MAN!!!! CRAZY, this ride looks so intense. I can't wait to ride it

#1 Coaster Fan, and others who haven't gotten the concept yet- you're not going to be flipping down the drop, or througout the ride. The seats follow a controlled rotation pattern- one that is fixed. You don't "flip". Looks to me like you probably do a 1/2 turn on the drop based on the different position that the outside rails are from the top to the bottom.

Oh, and that drop is surely 200 feet, considering that Viper is 180, and it pulls out on top of the hill while X is below it and into a small trench.

you don't flip down the drop. The dip at the top flips you face first and you stay that way until 3/4'ths of the drop is complete when you flip and go through that trench on your back. Look at POV video at www.twistedrails.com and you can see it!I think, I repeat I THINK, that the way the cars spining is controlled is by those outter rails. I think!

holy crap. i cant wait for this thing to open. i can see the train colideing already.i dont care how long the wait is or how close you come to the main supports, this ride is just going to kick some major azz
