I think slithernoggin brings up a good point. These are still two parks with different audiences, even if you can get into both for the same price. I went to SFO a dozen times last year, but never once SWO.
However, what makes this park extremely attractive at this point is that there really is something for everyone now. Every member of the family has something to see. The park suddenly is something that Cedar Point should be fairly alarmed about.
Now, as the local press goes, especially local reaction, the park has their work cut out for them. It's no secret that operationally SFO had a less than spectacular reputation. SWO was generally much better, so here's hoping that the influence flows in the proper direction.
