It MUST be a coaster. I didn't see anything posted here:

www.RestaurantBuzz.com

nor here:

www.GasStationBuzz.com

;)

Edit: Oooh! I should jump on that second domain! *** Edited 7/24/2007 2:21:42 PM UTC by janfrederick***

How about a coaster like Powder Keg? That would really fit in at Holiday World.....well, in the future.

You're missing the TWO Obvious clues.

Blog post title "We've only just begun" and the phrase "close to you" are both songs from the early-mid 1970's group the CARPENTERS.

Carpenters don't build things with STEEL, they use WOOD.

Carry on

THREE OBVIOUS HINTS.

Third is "For all we know", from the 1971 Carpenters self titled LP.

Do I win a prize?

(like a first ride?)

^ What if its not a ride? ;)

If the park were to get another woodie (eventually) I say it would probably be an out and back, considering all of the coasters they have now are twisters. Well.....what do you consider Voyage?

"Well.....what do you consider Voyage?"

Heaven.

As for the "not a ride" comment. I hardly doubt she'd show us another "snowy gravel road", (as per the picture on the blog) and leave so many "Carpenters" hints, if we weren't talking wood, wood something, certainly. Yes, it could be a picnic shelter, a gift shop, or a smoking deck. However, Paula has never shown a tendency to pun-ish us (drive us mad with hints) for things that weren't especially important to readers of a coaster forum. *** Edited 7/24/2007 8:10:27 PM UTC by CreditWh0re***

Maybe it's an indoor coaster for rainy days and Mondays?

How about a wooden Junior coaster like Pegusas at Mount Olympus? It would be close to the Voyage but with a different target audience.

I posted to the HoliBlog...not to a coaster forum.

Right?

It really does not matter. Maybe a hotel with a bunch of rooms would be nice. Aside from that, as long as they keep Voyage they can get anything else they want as far as I'm concerned. I'll be over on Voyage while you all ride or do whatever it is.

Since the clues are "Carpenters" related, it can't have anything to do with food. (Boooo, I know, but SOMEBODY had to say it).

It's a landing pad for UFO's for "calling occupants of interplanetary craft." :)

Carpenters can build just about anything with wood now cant they? Including the building that houses a dark flat ride. or a hotel...maybe even another log ride....such as a tunnel of love type ride. HMMM......My only point is that it still could be anything or nothing at all.

That's right -- the carpenters are building themselves a new Carpenters Shop.

That was fun while it lasted.

I'm just sad I'm the one who is "old enough" who caught the puns.

Oh the days when I could say, that things were "obviously before my time".
