Favorite Non-Coaster Ride

I, like you all, am a huge coaster fan. BUT, there are other thrills out there. What is your favorite?

1.Spiderman at IOA
2.Drop Zone at PKI

My fav. would definately have to be Power Tower. I like shooting down the best on that ride.=P

Spiderman at Islands of Adventure is indescribable to those who have not yet experienced it. I've been riding it for 13 months now and it STILL dazzles me EVERY time. What a first class combination of design, imagination, special effects and plot! Bravo to everyone involved... it's the new STANDARD for Theming... bar none!

Well until the end of the month when I get to see how good Spiderman and MIB are (FL) I'm going to have to go with the good ol' fashioned thrills of the rotor (os as we used to call it when I was little "The Floor Drop" =])

Zamperla Hawk (a.k.a., Aero360 at Kennywood). Oh how I love that ride.

I would have to go with Jet Stream at SFMM. Best water ride in my opinion. I also give high marks the now missing motion simulator at Sea World San Diego.

Kennywood's Pittsburg Plunge and Wave Swinger are tied.

I would have to go w/ the carni. midway thrills of the zipper, or Dr. Doom at IOA

AERO 360 All the WAY! This ride is amazing! It offers awsome hang time and thrills. My favorite part of the ride is when the face you almost vertical at thew ground, you feel like your going to fall out!

1) Power Tower (going down), CP
2) The defunct Bayern Kurve, CP
3) The Zipper, Carny ride

Fiddlers Fling at SFGAm. (Its a Scrambler on drugs!!)

Tower of terror at disney MGM. i love the theme, the costumes of the crue.

I'm actually suprised that noone has mentioned the "Tilt-a-Whirl". I used to hate these things as a child (always got smooshed) but when you put 3 twentysomethings into one of those little cars, you can have a pretty exciting ride!
