PPP Questions

John, I could play Fascination ALL day, especially at Morey's with all the crazy different games they do. I haven't done the slide in years (more like decades). I'm afraid now my butt will get wedged in between the sides and they'd have to call in the jaws of life to get me out. Meanwhile little kids keep piling up behind me. :)

Count me in for a looper ride. I have no idea what I'm in for.

Matt, it's basically a circular rotating Rock-O-Plane. I'll get on once again, too much abdominal strain for me to try more than that.... (what Tina was referring to as "the work")... ;)

I get it. I just meant I had no idea how intense it is going to be.

Will Tina give a demonstration on DDR?

I haven't been since the looper was installed, and for that matter, I didn't ride the Rock n Tug last time I was there either.

Anyone up for being goofy and getting a Tug boat full of nuts?

Chuck, who loves a Disk-O but doesn't know about the Tug.

The Disk-O almost made me hurl, so I'm weary of the Rock 'n Tugs.

The Rock 'n Tugs are funny. Less intense than the Disk-O.

Chuck, I am almost positive Knoebels doesn't have a DDR. I am WAY out of practice on that anyway. :(

I rode the Looper twice last PPP I think. I just remember being almost out of breath by the end of it. We couldn't get our cage to "loop" at all. ;) I like rides to spin by themselves without me doing much of anything. ;) They are meant to be relaxing afterall. :)

The Flyers are excluded. I LOVE working them!

Looper? Rock n Tugs? How could I have missed these things? Count me in!

Knoebels used to have a DDR two years ago, but I didn't go last year.

I'm pretty sure Knoebels has a DDR in the Playland Arcade. Used to be right in front of the entrance. (I don't do it, so I really don't look for it.)

Looper-- work? what work? I rode last year with some guy who needed a second. When we got off the ride, his wife was sitting on a bench across the way and she was laughing because she said we went over a lot more than the young kids on the ride did.

You need to have two riders somewhat matched in weight to make it work. If not, the heavier rider hits the bottom, and the lighter one doesn't have enough weight to swing the cage around, or to "pull" the heavier rider back up to the top.

Yeah they had 2 DDR machines when I went on Labor day, I remember walking by and watching for a bit. Then again, im not sure if you guys specifically mean DDR or another game thats the same just named different lol. Looked like DDR to me, but I don't know how many versions there are to that game, and I didn't really check. Well, they at least had some kind of dancing game when I was there lol. It was in playland of course.

^^ LOL. I probably do more work than is useful (i.e., busy work) trying to ROLL the cage...much like I do on a Rock-O-Plane. Being a state employee, expending effort with no real gain has become second-nature to me... ;)

The key to the looper is knowing how to use the foot pedal. :) I figured out how to lock someone at the top so their head was slightly below their feet at PPP last year. Good times!
