How much will it take for you to ride the back seat of Gearogia Cyclone with me, Tina? ;) *** Edited 10/3/2006 7:27:04 PM UTC by Acoustic Viscosity***

Hmmmm. I guess we will discuss that at the next Spring Fling, if you can get me away from Goliath and Mindbender. :)

Pack your long johns for PPP. The forecast lows for Friday and Saturday are in the low 40s (or maybe even upper 30s).
High Temps for Eastern Pennsylvania look like Upper 50s on Friday to Upper 60s on Sunday.

It looks like I'll have no need for my Short Pants and Swimsuit.

I believe this is what they call "Football Weather" :)

I look forward to seeing you all at :) PPP :) or at the Neighbor Parks!

So NOW, kinda late in the game to be sure, I have some PPP questions....LOL!

Hours phor the park (Knoebels I mean) are listed thru SEPTEMBER...

Can anyone tell me operating hours for Phriday, opening time on Saturday, and opening time on Sunday. I'm trying to phigure out if/when to squeeze in Dorney, and my early phlight into Philly is making me consider driving directly to Elysburg on Phriday instead of killing a couple hours to get into Dorney....

TiA! :)

Bill, look here:

http://knoebels.com/events.htm#phunfest

Looks like rides run 10:00 to 5:00 on Saturday and Sunday and not at all on Friday.

I'll be there Saturday... my first PPP (and enthusiast event for that matter) ever. I am starting to get a little frightened! ;)

Ray P.

Nothing to be afraid of ... PPP to me is just like any day at the park. It's a relaxing day of riding rides, eating park food and good company. It's a fun day with lots of people who have a great time.

By the way I probably will not be getting into a costume so I will probably be able to make myself able to be found easily. Denver Broncos Jersey with #26 on it and the name Portis across the shoulders. Too bad he don't play for Denver anymore :(

Watch the tram car please....
It ain't the enthusiasts to be afraid of, it's the craft show maniacs who will be there Saturday morning. It might take a good fifteen minutes to get from the edge of the parking lot to Downdraft trying to squeeeeeze through the crowd. If you're lucky, you won't get nailed by somebody's motorized cart. :)

Portis, he's one of Snyder's boys now, isn't he?

^ Yep, the 'Skins sure have improved since my boy Spurrier flew the, ummm, coop. (Gamecocks joke)... ;)

Thanks Ray, never thought to look for operating hours on a page OTHER than the calendar.. ;)

Guess this means I'm officially doing Dorney on PPP eve...anyone joining me? (meeting calendar reference).... :)

^ As IF I wasn't aware of that previously...thanks! :)
^^^ Hmmm, now that's a thought.
Congrats on your first Enthusiast Event Progray. BTW My First Event was a Local Event at Edgewater Park in Detroit, Michigan in september of 1981 to take their Wooden Coaster (Then called Big Beast, also known as Swinger and Soul Train, among others) for its Final Rides after the park closed for good that year.

This will be my First PPP so I'm pretty excited about it. (I wonder how it will stack up to HW's Event?)

If it werent for my trip this past May to HW I wouldn't be going to this event! (I hope American Airlines :) OVERBOOKS :) Again!)

RGB, do you mean you are willing to risk attending Dorney at the same time I'm there?

Generally that means weird operations that result in Laser going up and down...but the park is usually empty, making for lots of good Talon rides... :)

ThunderHawk just gets more disappointing every time I go... :(

If, however, you were referring to Spurrier and the subsequent 'Skins revival...he just couldn't get those "match-up mismatches" in the NFL that he'd become SO accustomed to at UF, and even before that, at LOWLY Duke....how have THEY done since SOS left the building...ROFL! ;)

Yes Portis is one of Snyder's boys. Actually I would say he's more of Gibbs' boy. You knew when he came back to coaching he needed a good running back to bring the Skins back to respectable.

I still have loyalty to Portis due to his college roots - Respect THE U!. Yes I know they are having a down season this year.

Almost all of my other Bronco jerseys sit in a drawer. Can't be wearing my Elway, Sharpe or Davis jerseys much. I guess I need a new one but I just can't by a Jake Plummer jersey. Maybe I will wait a year or two and get a Jay Cutler.

As for PPP I will only be doing Saturday right now. But I might look for something to drive to for Sunday.

Don't know if I'll have a chance to do this tomorrow so; For those of us that will be attending SuperSnoozeSiesta(Formerly known as PhallPhunPhest), let's have a great time.

I think we all know of one person, on this forum, who we'll not have to worry about seeing there.

LOL! I couldn't have said it better! I tried to get Bill to fly into the Burgh instead of Philly but noooooo. ;)

PA is going to be full of lunatics this weekend no matter where we will end up! :)

Pity Elysburg on Saturday. ;) :)
