Yeah, cause Manhattan Express is the Corvette of the roller coaster world. Gimme a break, please, who cares about the name change of this ride? If it was Millennium Force or Magnum or SROS or something like that, I could see the attention. But to give attention to this is just odd considering how bad it is...and to compare it to changing Corvette's name was just idiotic.

Wow balls you havent even been a member a month yet and already your acting like a complete a**. Just becuase you dont agree with someone doesnt mean that their idea is idiotic. One thing you may wanna learn here is manners. My point had nothing to do with saying that Manhattan Express was a good coaster like corvette is a good car. I was simply saying that the name was lame and to me renaming something that has a had a name so long doesnt make sense.

I bet more people called the ride 'The Roller Coaster at NYNY' then 'Manhattan Express'.

^Yeah Coasterfile, of my friends that have been to Vegas, none of them actually knew the name. The general public already calls it "the rollercoaster at new york."

^I think I called it "Oh crap, that HURT!" ;)

Well, we all know that names mean EVERYTHING when it comes to a coaster.

Yeah, that was sarcasm. ;)

Without lapbar-only trains, it will still suck, regardless of what it's called ;)

See kids.... ^THAT^ is called "being able to laugh at yourself". After you've mastered that technique, then you can move on to more fun stuff, like poking fun at/with your friends... :)

P.S. Anybody that loves the Yankees and wooden coasters can't be all bad...unless it's me. ;)

I didn't know you were a Yankees fan, Bill. Or are you NOT a Yankees fan? If you aren't you should be, as those Florida teams are going absolutely nowhere fast!

Where does your "leaves are changing visit" usually take you?

What other Seussian words have you been able to find in the dictionary? ;)

So, near as I can tell, those aren't full shoulder restraints like before....rather, they sit on top of the shoulders and there is now a lap bar as well.

And if people were calling it "The roller coaster at NYNY", it would make perfect sense to change the name to what everyone appears to call it.

I rode it the first year it was opened, and it wasn't painful, even if a little rough. Haven't been on it since.
