GADV Wood Coaster Stats Predictions

How high do you think GADV's new Intamin woddie will be? Will it be record-breaking as its rumored to be and if so just how high? Will it be near the height of "Nitro" or higher?

My prediction: 150' high (tallest wood coaster in the east coast), 5500' feet long (longest wood coaster on the east coast) and a hybrid out and back/twister layout.

137ft. 4800 ft long out and back twister layout like rob said. Speed 59mph.

Hmmm...if it isn't the longest and highest everywhere then it isn't worth riding.

Thnak GOD it's an Intamin plug & play so we dont have 2 worry about it being rough!

FOr a while, yes, then it's up to SFGAd and their maint. team, even with Plug and play.. Their care of RT leaves a LOT to be desired.

That is either: the worst use EVER of the quote feature, an homage to Chappelle's Show and Rick James ("Yeah I rubbed my dirty feet on his couch"), or both... :)

And Rob, as sweet as Riverside Cyclone's back seat was, with OTSRs I might not have survived...YIKES!

I have to agree with everyone, I don't think SFGAD would build it unless it was pretty big.

SFGAdv most likely will be building to make a big splash again...to up their status as a major player in the theme park industry...seeing as how they have what...one woodie that sucks, they should get a woodie that is really really good...and while they're at it, make it something big...that's just my thoughts.

I have this feeling that that are going for both the tallest & fastest steel and wooden coaster records so they can market the hell out of it.

I say it will be the biggest and longest wooden coaster on the planet and after a few short weeks of waiting several hours in line to ride it the wood will be deemed defective and the whole thing will have to be torn down. Oh well two for two aint that bad.

220' tall, taking height record for wooden coaster. 5,000-6,000 feet in length.

Steel supports with pre-fab track? That'll confuse the people who already are having a hard time discerning a wood coaster from a steel one....LOL! :)
