I've seen this on another site and decided to open it up here. Its to see how much we really know about coasters, and to see if anyone can come up with a Stumper!!

First question, What was the first rollercoaster to utilize tubular steel track??

Let the fun begin :)

What wooden coaster, designed by John Miller, opened in 1928 and closed before the end of that same year?

That would be Beach Coaster @ Ocean View Pavilion.

How did "Dips" (the rollercoaster at Buckeye Lake) finally meet it's end? *** Edited 3/3/2005 1:14:29 AM UTC by Stanley76***

If this thread's going to continue, the questions should be things that can't be found doing an RCDB search or not easily found with Google.

Otherwise, there's no fun in it.

The John Miller question is a good one though.

Here's one.

How many wooden coasters can you name that go straight out of the station onto the lift WITHOUT making a turn of any kind before hitting the lift.

It's not as easy as it sounds. I can only think of three right now.
