Possible Dorney Park event date

I believe BeastBuzz is June 11th.

Yeah, that one is a done deal. Already signed the catering contract.

Okay, then move me to the 21st crowd:).

I would prefer the 5/21 weekend. 5/28 is Memorial Day weekend, and the park is bound to be MUCH busier that weekend.

I will try to make any event that remotely coincides with any *plans* I might be formulating...but I'll keep a low profile so as to make a hard target...:)

Great Adventure is planning their Coaster Celebration for May 21st and 22nd, lets hope Kingda Ka ERT is on Sunday.

All the more reason to wait until the next weekend. :)

If it's not published, as far as I'm concerned it's not happening. We can't go the week before because of the ACE Spring Con.

Do you happen to know how much more of a cost it would be for the 28th just out of curiosity? Didn't know if you had a ballpark figure yet.

Dorney's tickets prices usually jump about $10 from 'early season' to 'summer season' prices.

EDIT - I should've added "I'm not sure how that would affect event pricing, that's regular admission ticket prices" - but I guess Jeff cleared that up below. :)

The difference is about three dollars. Probably not enough to worry about I'm sure.

I vote for the 28th.

My vote is for the 21st. It'll be considerably easier for me to get off of work. If I have an assistant by then, either date will work. If not, it's going to be tough for me to get the 28th.

I like 5/28. I guess I better shell out the member fees.

OldCPer/CPLady asked me to post for her to say that May 21 is excellent for her! (So I guess that means its excellent for me too as her shadow. Haha.)

Chiming in. The 21st would work.

The holiday weekend would not work as well for me due to family obligations (you see, I'm an old fart and family obligations generally have to take precedence). It's bad enough timbersfest always falls on Father's Day weekend.

Not to mention holiday traffic between Michigan and eastern PA
