Or the privilege to buy it? (is that legal?)
IF Jeff would issue stock and IF it were a member benefit, methinks membership cost would go up to cover that extra cost. (Everything else is primarily just access to other site features, so it doesn't really cost more other than bandwidth and Jeff's time to program it)
It would be... interesting. :)

There is a flip-side to the so-called usefulness of Ad-blocking software. the eBay pages all have banner ads and also ads on the homepage, and these get wiped out by many ad blockers. A good thing? No. The ads on eBay are for ebay items and, quite often, advertising space which a trader has paid good money for. That is stealing, in the technical sense of the word. Many sites use ads served by external companies, such as mediafarm, adserve, etc, to advertise their own products - that item you were looking for because you heard it was on special may be advertised in an ad your software has blocked.
I have mine turned onto a lower setting, enabling most sites, and if i find a particularly abusive site, i add it to the unfriendly list. To be fair, i only have it installed because it's a work computer and they're security freaks here.
Well, that's my two cents, and no, i don't currently have club membership, but i will be as soon as my finances permit. Due a pay rise in jan, so i'll be joining the second i get it. Jeff needs our support as internet users - this is his life and source of income.
