I love the idea of being a "spectacle" in an elaborate costume, but from what I've seen, many costumes make riding and general mobility kind of tough. Plus you have to spend a lot of time getting yourself ready before the event. I much prefer to slip on a mask in five minutes and spend time at the event, not getting ready for the event ;)

Still, I have the utmost respect for those that go all-out... they definitely help to make the event what it is!

That is pretty much my idea too. I am going as a pirate. Simple and cheap, and you don't have to leave a million and one props at the station.

Though I do love some of the great get-ups some folks come up with.

Crap. I'm having car trouble so anyone heading to PPP traveling/through/near/around Princeton, NJ? I could really use a lift. (Interested only in day tripping it). Dorney in the morning would be a plus, but I'll take what I can get.
