PPP Costumes

I was wondering if I should add the slicks, engine, and wing even though I only made the lead car.

I did think about doing a group costume with all 6 trains.

And Mooshie, Top Thrill Brent will be down the entire weekend, so don't get any ideas.....;)

So MagForce...how much "downtime" will you experience at PPP....? ;)

I wouldn't worry, he'll have a Knoebels crew close by that can get him up and running right away ;)

Ask yourself; When was the last time YOU visited Conneaut Lake Park?

Start practicing your rollbacks and be sure to have your theme-action launching slick tires.

And bring along an MP3 player to get the effects sounds right... ;)

Sorry in advance, but instead of a suspended coaster, how about a suspended coaster enthusiast.

Sorry, it's late.

....are you talking about suspending a coaster enthusiast (one hanging from a rope/cable), or an enthusiast of suspended coasters....;)

Well, I guess if you were a suspended coaster enthusiast, you'd not be able to attend. But as far a costume, you'd have to go with the version with the prop. All you'd need is an engine lift or something. ;)

A few years back my friend Steve Gardina went as SFMM's Ninja. He wore a black ninja outfit and an orange OSTR around his neck.

Brent,

I am suprised you didn't build a Cedar Point Trash Can and wear it as your costume......

Actually, the CP trash can idea would work best if a LOT of people got together and all dressed as trash cans...

I was gonna go as Rob Alvey, and just ignore most everybody, and walk around with my nose stuck up;), but then I decided that wouldn't be any fun, so I thought about going as a Vekoma anything, but now I've figured it woulnd't not be financially feasible, nor would it fit in my schedule, so I'm not going:( Oh well.

I'm Baaaack...

Im still in the same situation, If i wear any costume its going to be quick... and very cheap :).I dont think being a Phoenix Whore would be great, there are too many ways you could take the word "whore" and make it into a costume...
I belive Lumpy is referring to this

Here's a PPP costume tip:

If you're going to dress as ghosts make sure you try on the costume once *before* getting to PPP. The last thing you want to find out when it's too late is that your group costume themed to dead coaster designers from the golden age ends up looking like a lynch mob from the KKK.

D'oh!

PS - yes, we did take off the hoods ['cept bASS]

I absolutely have no clue on costume ideas. Even the overpriced "Halloween" stores in the mall confuse me even more. lol

I've found that a really good mask is a good way to go. I love the idea of being a "spectacle" in an elaborate costume, but from what I've seen, many costumes make riding and general mobility kind of tough. Plus you have to spend a lot of time getting yourself ready before the event. I much prefer to slip on a mask in five minutes and spend time at the event, not getting ready for the event ;)

Still, I have the utmost respect for those that go all-out... they definitely help to make the event what it is!

Unless you've found, like I have, a great costume idea that is coaster-related, requires NO mask or make-up, doesn't hinder riding, and requires just the right clothes and a few small props ;)
