Granted, one was four times higher than the other...

Anyway, looks interesting, if not particulary cost effective; 12 million for a ride like that seems like a stretch. I'm not a financial anaylst, though. In any case, this looks pretty interesting, though the flat section before the main drop looks like a bit of an adrenaline killer. Is it a MCBR of some sort?

I think it's a great move for Tivoli Gardens. With a quick search ar RCDB Denmark only has a handfull of steel coasters with inversions. Heck! This is the only one that has more than just a loop other than a Bommerang! It's also the only B&M in Denmark and only Floorless. This will be a great coaster for marketing since all the other loopers in Denmark are small Pinfari models. Looks like a fun ride. I like the turn before the drop. In the US i don't think this ride would do much, but this is something pretty big for Denmark.

So is this a floorless or regular looper?

And hasn't anyone who's ridden wood figured out that bigger doesn't mean better?

On the other hand, I would much rather have most of the floorlesses at SFNE than B:DK.

That brakerun seems a bit excessive. Granted, it's a very short track, but shouldn't the six car train have low enough inertia to facilitate a normal size brake? They might have been able to throw in something else... a bunny hop?

Anyway, I think this whole concept its incredibly cool, a mini B&M with an innovative layout. Is this the first floorless to have an Immelman? Or does WBMWM's Superman have one?

Even if it's bad (which I doubt), it can't be worse than Batman: The Dark Knight. Vekoma roughness, a boring layout that managed to make 3000' of track drag on, and the most anticlimactic elements ever executed make for a bomb. Here's hoping this new toy does a bit better.

I've been on Nemesis and while I love it to death, I'd still take almost every other inverted over it, except Batman, and Top Gun at PGA.

I guess bigger *is* better to me!

I too have to admit: I am a size queen when it comes to steel coasters.

Nothing comes close to huge hills and giant inversions. Especially on floorless coasters the height is a special thrillfactor. I didn´t make the effort to go to Fiesta Texas for nothing :)

I knew for two months that Tivoli was to get a B&M floorless. All I knew was that it would be their smallest, most beautiful installation and that it would feature three inversions and some sort of "surprise". I have to admit I was a bit disapointed when I found out that the surprise was a elevated helix before the first drop. I was expecting something like a near vertical drop or a new form of inversion. Well, my mistake...

I know that Tivoli has little space, but in this case i think that a different coaster would have been better value for money. The new Maurer Söhne Extended coaster is capable of all sorts of inversions on a smaller footprint. It is capable of vertical drops, has floorless seats AND lapbars only. I hope that another park will get one of those soon.

I was making a GENERAL statement. I'm sure there are some terrific small steelies. No, I haven't been on Nemesis, heard its a great ride, but nothing better than what we have in the states. Besides, I have Talon to ride!

Even in steel, size doesn't always make the difference. Granted S:RoS and E:GF aren't the smallest coasters but they're a lot smaller than MF and only marginally bigger than the Morgans or Arrows (and smaller in some cases). I haven't ridden it, but I heard SFoG's Mindbender is pretty damn good too and it's not all that big.

Dante- I know, I was only half kidding about Nemesis. Actually, the only invert I like more happens to be the biggest (Alpie).

So what can we conclude? B&M does it good, big or small.

Here are a few new contruction pitcures of the TCFKAGL (the coaster formerly known as Golden Lion)
Apparantly the park decided to hold a naming contest, offering a coaster-tour through the USA as a prize. (go figure!)

It seems they found a winner and the ride is now officially named:
DAEMONEN (needs no translation, I guess)

Another fact is that the coaster will be sponsored by Mazda.

I was hired by B&M 6 months ago. This is my first project.

Of course, they never contacted me and they don't pay me, nor do I ever go by the offices to say hello...

It's actually only 170ft shorter than the current US holder for the shortest B&M (PGA's Vortex). At least it has a more inspired layout and more interesting inversions.

Check out the parks video of the ride. Looks like a great ride, but after seeing what Badnitrus did with for Silver Bullet video, this one seems like old technology:

Check the twisted Immelman which looks pretty unique and almost like a new type of inversion.
