Ok after skimming the thread here are some thoughts, arranged in no particular order, with nothing being stated as solid fact:
- As long as it's fun, short is not bad
- This looks fun
- I like the immelman, the exit especially
- I don't like the pre-drop helix... based on its banking I'm going to go ahead and say that it will not be very intense, more of a scenic turnaround
- That being said, Tivoli is a damn pretty park to look at, so maybe the pre-drop helix won't be all bad
- I wouldn't expect this ride to be as intense as Nemesis. Why? I believe that Tivoli looked at more intense designs from Intamin (multi-inversion rocket coaster) and Maurer Söhne (MS Xtended)... and rejected them. That and the whole thing with Tivoli being primarily a family park
- Would I still expect this to be a high quality, fun ride, if only because it's coming from B&M? Yes.
- Hmmm... out of thoughts.

As said before, Kennywood would be a perfect fit for a ride like this one.
Joe "knew it was coming all along :)" C.
I know it there, I'm just not used to going through a helix before the first drop...

Don´t you think that they don´t even look like the typical B&M stuff anymore? The Immelman and the Zero-G look like deformed steel from an earthquake. The loop looks incredibly tiny.
Its going to be interesting to see if this ride delivers or if it will be a disapointment.

Not, back to the Beema....looks SWEET, like Dutch cocoa...:) Whenever I manage to get across the pond, Tivoli is right up there next to BPB as a destination park.
bill, thinking the bottom pic on tricktrack's http://www.tivoli.dk/composite-1602.htm link looks nicely tight and twisted... tricktrack, you are TOO cool, keep posting!
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
At first I thought it was my connection speed but the animation shows it twice, one from off the ride, one from a POV right near the end. If the ride actually does this it could be a great start to such a tight layout. I think it looks cool.
The ride does look very nifty though, elements are packed TIGHT together.

Its not that much, but whatever.
This is a Danish News page and the Video is apparantly a Danish TV report. Yes, and its in Danish and I don´t have a clue what they say.
Make sure to take a look at the water dummies!
Daemonen will start testing with people on friday!

Here is a link to a five minute video stream, covering Daemonens construction with some very interesting shots.
There is as well some onride footage of test-runs (sadly not the whole ride). This is a Danish News page and the Video is apparantly a Danish TV report. Yes, and its in Danish and I don´t have a clue what they say.

Basically they say that it's the head of engineerings 36th rollercoaster, and that he's too scared to ride them.
They also say that they had trouble placing some of the footers because they kept bumping into cables and footers from previous rollercoasters. And back during winter when it was -10C, they heated up the concrete and wrapped it in, so that it could dry slowly.
A German expert checked the ride's electric and computer settings, and found a couple of errors. So now, they're a bit behind, but they will be finished on time.
This year will be yet another rollercoaster year in Denmark! Dæmonen, Falken and Vild-Svinet has been made faster (and more themeing from what I've heard). On top of that BonBon-Land are also getting a DiskO, among other (unannounced) things, Djurs Sommerland is building the largest waterpark in Denmark featuring one of those large bucket things. Woohoo! :P
Yes, its really amazing how Scandinavia is getting a string of cool rides during the last few years. Lets just hope they keep the pace strong!

Well, Bakken will get a major new ride next year when the 'carnies' that are letting the areas leases expire. So far all they've said is that it's going to be at least as big as Dæmonen, impact wise.
Update:
So, it's up now. What you do is you go on this page:
http://nyhederne.tv2.dk/video/
Click on 'Åben konsol'
Make sure the program (you select it at the top of the console), is Fredag at 19:00
Scroll down on the bar on the right, to 'Afmelding' and check the box
Press 'Vis Valgte'
And Voila!
Among the riders is Prince Henrik, he's usually the first to go on new rides. *** Edited 3/26/2004 10:31:50 PM UTC by Raskal***
