Superman at SFMM isn't bad because you can't see anything untill you get near the towers on it. Then you go up them and the Superman guy's eyes glow a strange red color and it is pretty cool.

Wood - Beast

Steel - MF, CP just does such a great job on the lighting with this ride, and they turn it off periodically to heighten the excitement.

I would have tried it in front also, but they wouldnt let me and my friend wait for it because the front row que was full.

Pfft...all you people saying Magnum...while its not bad at Night, nothing beats the Beast at night...the tunnels are pitch black and seem to last much longer, the forest is all dark and spooky...everyone is going nutz...its just totally awsome.

the one ride I will never forget in the dark was on Beast during Ride op appreciation night. Right around the farthest stretching turn, there was a fog bank. Not light fog, pea soup. Not a chance you knew where you were going. It just rocked!

SOB had a good night ride, rode it by myself one night after closing. good ride.

SOB_TOM, although I wasn't at the park on Op. App. Night (I wasn't one), I've ridden The Beast at night with thick fog. It's amazing! Plus, it was a hot day and the brakes were almost all the way OFF. Best ride of my life for any ride. :)
