Disaster Transport was NOT built by Intamin. The former Avalaunch Run was constructed by ITEC Productions Inc. from Orlando, Florida in 1985. Intamin may have enclosed the ride (1990), but did not build the coaster.
Sorry, Wrong. Intamin built the coater. ITEC enclosed it and did the special effects in 1990:

Demon Drop is also considered to be an Intamin ride, but what about the two Schwarzkopf rides...the Giant Wheel and the Wildcat? Knowing that certain Schwarzkopf rides were sold and serviced by Intamin over the years...
Likewise, there is a very good chance that Demon Drop and Avalanche Run may have actualy been constructed by Giovanola under contract to Intamin. But then, if you count non-coaster rides like Demon Drop and Giant Wheel, then the edge goes easily back to Arrow, with White Water Landing, Snake River Falls, Antique Cars, Cadillac Cars, and Turnpike Cars. More than enough to make up for Thunder Canyon. Of course, the two Arrow dark-ride systems have been removed from the park, as has one flume.

Jingle Bells. Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way! Oh what fun it'll be to ride Hulk at IOA!
It'd be nice if the number of coasters from BOTH companies continued to increase at Cedar Point. If CP were to decide to go the way of Paramount's Kings Island, by making the park appealing to the entire family, they could up their coaster count by three with a unique Wild Mouse, ArrowBATic, and Virginia Reel. All three would be marketable, especially the ArrowBATic and Virginia Reel, and all three would have small footprints, great coasters to fit into a boardwalk project. Plus, the unique layouts would set apart the three new coasters from similar coasters around the world.
Intamin ( or S&S now that they have a wooden coaster department, but I'll say Intamin since they have experience ) could provide a new wooden roller coaster, also a part of the boardwalk project, and several new flat rides.
