Gravity Group

I was wondering if anyone knows whether the Gravity Group has any coasters to be built anytime soon. I haven't heard anything at all.

I thought that Gravity Group actually has sold one coaster already and it is in the works for an '03 opening... but this was around 3 weeks or so ago that I heard this floating around, but it was confirmed that they had at least one in the works.

Just don't ask me what park, where, exactly when, why, how, or why... I only know who... and that's the Gravity Group!! ;)

Is that the one that was supposed to go at Waldameer Park in Erie, PA? Somehow, I think that's still on hiatus until some supposed stupid "environmental tests" are being completed (thanks, NIMBY)... but since it was originally CCI, GG would probably be sought out.

And CCI had a long waiting list, so I'm sure all of those clients are in search of a quality, value packed manufacturer.

I think any park who wanted a CCI coaster before they closed will contemplate a GG coaster. After all, they may have a different name, but there still the same designers. Cedar Fair may be a potential client. No Cedar Fair Park has ever built a woodie since Mean Streak.

Its called Ghost Rider at KBF, drony ac13.

Shivering Timbers? Pretty sure that's a CCI in a CF park too..'98 was AFTER CF bought out MiA, right? My history may be off though....

Wow, and DID we...don't think they're recyclable though...;) Halloween is one of THOSE holidays 'round hyeah...Kinda like Cinco de Mayo, only it was some nice wine last night instead of Coronas. Feel like I spent the night as Dave Attell's sidekick....:)

Back on topic, the Ravine Flyer has been kicking around since I've been on the coaster forums (yes, even pre-'buzz), and it hasn't been built YET, so....nevertheless, whoever gets the first GG-designed woodie is going to get a QUALITY design....hope the construction team that ends up BUILDING it does as well!

yes, the Ravine Flyer WILL be followed through by GG according to the park pres., the coaster is still on hiatus, and also, although off topic, there is a new ride (- or two? ;-) -) on the way for the 2003 season at Waldameer. These attractions have yet to be announced...
