Now since I live out here in CA, I hope they can make Xcelerator longer by adding some of that

Wow, that is amazing. I can't wait to ride this thing. Hopefully they don't have assigned seating because I want a front seat ride.

Haha... If only this were actually true.

Keep in mind that this is just someone who wanted to depict what they think they new ride might turn out to be. Sorry to disappoint, but I'm almost 100% sure that they much alluded to "disappointing" factor of this ride will be length. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was Launch--Tophat--Brakes. 400ft+ is DAMN TALL and I wouldn't be disappointed with such a skimpy layout at all.

I really don't think it will be that long, but if it is, it'll be even sweeter!

Thats a great drawing, but any good artist could draw something like that. Doesn't mean its real.

Parks don't just "add" to coasters. Especially when the only similar one is across the country.

Why don't parks actually build insanely cool rides like that drawing..? I'm sure it's possible.

im hopeful that it will look like that, but after having seen the site at CP myself, i am very doubtful. my guess is launch, tophat, and brakes, but who knows...it is still very early. its still going to rock though :)

Tim (who, being a PKD homer, knows all too well the excitement yet dissapointment of a "good" LIM coaster:))

I would be extremely dissapointed if this new roller coaster were just launch, top hat, brakes. Any ride going 100+ miles per hour will seem short, even if it's 7000 feet long, but Cedar Point needs to be creative with this one, like they have done with all of their other roller coasters.

Launched coasters are generally short IMO, this seems a tad too long and extravagent, even for CP.

I hope that is real! We'll see when more supports go up.

BTW, does anyone have any pics of the footers. Maybe we can tell by looking at the pattern that the footers make.
