My first coaster was the Jack Rabbit at Kennywood.  It is a great coaster and full of airtime on the double dip.  I love this coaster and can't wait to ride it again.

I have no idea but it was something in Cedar Point when I was about 7 years old and tall enought to ride.  That would have been 1987 so I am betting it was Iron Dragon, Corkscrew, or Blue Streak.

My first coaster was Lil' Dipper at Camden Park. Then I rode Beastie at PKI, but it was years before I rode anything bigger. Finally, the summer after my senior year of high school, some friends got me on Vortex (PKI). Now I wonder what I was thinking...

First - Whizzer - Almost cried. I hated it, never wanted to go on any coaster again.
Second - American Eagle - Almost cried, again, hated it, never wanted to go on anything made of wood again.
Third - Demon - Loved it, I was mad, I only went on 2 other coasters the whole day!

So for me to love coasters took a total of about 8 hours from my first to loving them. 6 year olds can change thier minds fast.

Even though I had ridden Scooby Doo and Goldrusher at Carowinds I consider White Lightening my first real coaster.  I have a slight heart murmur and was always scared off by those health warning signs.  When I got of White Lightenin I was so dizzy I thought I had screwed up with my heart ,  but went right back on  and got hooked.   now I have high blood pressure on top of the murmur but I'm gonna keep riding at least I'm not an expectant mother   if that happens I'll quit    haha

john

ps: anyone with health problems should ride at their own risk it's not the parks fault if something happens to me or you if we ignore the health warnings

For me it was The Beastie at PKI. I actually have no memory of riding it my first time (I was 4) which is odd because I remember visiting P(KI) when I was 3 in 1983! Any psychology majors on here to explain this to me? LOL. I knew I shouldn't have slept through that class my freshman year!

I would have to say that one of the Disneyland coasters were my first, but I couldnt say which. Probably Space Mountain, cause Tomorrowland is always the first direction taken.

Would of been Jr. Gemini at Cedar Point. Thankfully, my brother, my riding partner, rode Magnum as his first coaster. He was 8, and I was 4. Got both of us started. My first big one wass probably Hoosier Hurricane, or Blue Streak.

Hey, WabashCannonball, I never new IB had a kiddie coaster. Where was it?
