Very first coaster

Whew, old topic! Anywho, my first coaster was the Sea Dragon at Wyandot Lake, Columbus, Ohio. Small woodie, but to me back then, it was a giant! Was scared to death ;)

If love is like a rollercoaster, doesn't that mean you should be happy ALL of the time? ;)

The Cannon Ball at Lake Winne.  That thing rocks!  Packs a big punch for such a small ride and is still one of my faves...
my first was the wild mouse at revere beach. then the cyclone.

Chris the Coaster Freak: I never knew that the Ninja was smooth. The first time I rode it I got a headache.

Markey Mark: I bet you miss the Tidal Wave once it moved to SFOG. I would like you to know that I enjoyed the Viper... while it lasted.

Mine was the soapbox derby at Knotts when I was pretty young. I was terrified.  Between that and the Parachute Jump, I became afraid of heights and coasters, and never went on  another until a few years ago.

Though it turned me off of coasters for a long time, I'm glad to call the Soapbox Derby my first coaster.

0-82 in 2.3 seconds! =Wow!

Mine was either the Cannonball at Lake Winnie or The Mighty Python at BGT.  I can't remember which anymore.  I do know it scared the crap outta me.
I remember when my parents took me to Valleyfair when I was about 10years old. I did my very first lap on High Roller ever since than I realy enjoyed riding coasters and in 1996 Wild Thing opened it was my very first hyper before I started to go on coaster trips once I turned eighteen.

Coaster Thrill Ride at the Puyallup Fair in Washington State.  My grandfather conned me into it, and I still love it to this day..  What better way to start than with an ACE coaster Classic?

Does CCI know how to make a bad coaster?

Jr. Gemini @CP, though the first adult coaster was Iron Dragon.

However, my prom date never rode a coaster till we went prom weekend.  Her first coaster was Millenium Force.  She didn't like it.

We no longer go out.

My first coaster was Corkscrew at Gl.

My first was the now defunct Super Screamer at Adventureland, I closed my eyes the whole time :)

First major coaster was Screamin Eagle at Six Flags St. Louis I think.

First Looper was The Dragon at Adventureland

My first coaster would have been the SFOG Mini Mine Train followed by the Dahlonega Mine Train. I don't really remember those first rides; but I do remember a few years later when my younger brother got his first ride on the Mini Mine Train. My older brother and I (we were around 10-12 yrs old at the time) were in the first seat with my mother and younger brother behind us. My mother was screaming "Oh my God were going to die!" the whole ride. As me and my older brother slid down in our seats trying to act like we were not associated with the panic stricken lady, my younger brother, unfazed by her screaming, was saying "Mommy! mommy! lets ride it again!"

Then I stepped up to the then world record holding Great American Scream Machine. On that first GASM ride I hit my head on the back of the seat (it must not have had the head rests then) at the bottom of the first drop and did not remember anything between there and the finishing bunny hills. I rode it again a few years later and was amazed at the length of the ride.
