Does anyone know any B&M train crashes or rollbacks that happened this year or any other times before?

What if BKF slipped in the station? It's got those gates over the track. Ouch.

As far as rollbacks, I have seen Raptor roll back during a VERY windy day the first week it was opened.  I have heard that Mantis has had a rollback, but I didn't see it.

Superman: Krypton Coaster stopped in the middle of the cobra roll last year due to high winds also. I don't know of any B&M crashes.

Riddler's Revenge has had a rollback.  The mechanics simply remove the upstops and pull off each car with a crane.  Trains are re-assembled on the transfer track.

I have seen a couple things go wrong with a B&M before.  Raptor has rolled back once.  Not a windy day, no one knew what happened.  It went to the brake run, stopped, and drifted backwards.  Raptor was down for the day until later that night.  Still not sure what happened, but almost caused a collison with the other train that was heading up the lift.  If it would have crested, it would have been ugly.  Thankfully everything turned out ok.

The only other thing that I know of is that I heard **key word** that Apollos Chariot had a roll through at the station.  It is unconfirmed, but I heard it so I figure I would toss it out.

Bigkirby, the gates on the floorless coasters don't close until the train comes to a stop, so that wouldn't be a problem.

Can anyone provide me with a link to see these gates that are on floorless coasters? Do you know if they will be on the new SFNE coaster? What are they used for?

Those front gates are help to prevent someone in the first row of riders from falling out of the station while boarding (hey, accidents happen).  Some (all?) of B&M's inverteds have similar gates, that drop down instead of to the sides.

Really? I never knew that. I though it was supposed to look high tech for the Batman theme. Thanks Greg :)

On those floorless coasters, if you went over the front edge of the loading platform, you'd have a pretty severe fall...the stations all seem to be fairly....elevated.

Does Alpengeist have those gates?  If I remember right, the station is level with the ground, so falling off would not be a problem.

Nemesis does not have a gate, which I found weird.

Explain this "gate" more.  I can't picture what you are talking about--so I don't know if B:TR at SFGAm has this or not.  The only gates we have are the air gates.
