B&M crashes

Since we're on the topic of which Batman's have gates, the Batman at SFMM also doesn NOT have a front gate, as Raptor oes. I am pretty sure now that ALL the Batman's do NOT have a front gate. The floor lowers and the train proceeds right up the lift hill, hich has a grated metal mesh floor beneath it. Raptors 180 turnaround into the lift hill does NOT have any kind of floor, necessitating the gate. :)

As far as rollbacks, I have seen Raptor roll back during a VERY windy day the first week it was opened.  I have heard that Mantis has had a rollback, but I didn't see it.
Superman: Krypton Coaster stopped in the middle of the cobra roll last year due to high winds also. I don't know of any B&M crashes.

No! Superman has never had a roll back in it's cobra roll. IF you had the minds to think, that superman is in the bottom of a rock quarry! There is no wind! WOW! And... How in the world, are they gonna get people out of a train that's half upside down above a lake, and 80ft in the air? Stop making up lies.

Montu doesn't have crocodiles or gators anymore below the drop out of the station.

Montu is smooth as glass.Ninja at SFOG is as smooth as sandpaper.

Poor bird! Does anyone know if he's afraid to ride roller coasters now?

It's hard to say that the bird would afraid of coasters considering that it died upon impact with Fabio.

Superman @ SFFT has most definatly valleyed.
Ummmmmmmmm.................actually Superman: Krypton Coaster did have a rollback in the cobra roll.  It wasn't opened though, and it was pretty much some of the ride ops fault.  They should have known not to test it in that kind of wind.  It is built in a quarry, but not all the way around.  The wind could have come in still.

How'd they get it out of there then?

They have to take each car one by one with a crane.  Ithink they take off the upstop wheels, and then just remove each vehicle.

It didn't stall upside down, it stalled in the cradle of the cobra roll.

Yes, I'm not stupid. It would have rolled to the middle of the cradle.

Montu has a gate because when I went there this summer we rode in the first row and I remember seeing it!
I guess Vekoma is just plain cheap b/c they just have a net from the edge to about five feet out in case anyone falls on the Mind Eraser (SLC).

"Raptor has a 180 degree turnaround before the lift.  The Great Bear doesn't go straight into the lift, and neither does at least on of the Dueling Dragons."

Actually, Great Bear does have its lift directly adjacent the station.

This is known in some parts of the Muslim world as compassionate conservatism
