I doubt many people have been there, but Spider at Lagoon has a very cool station. It's this tiny little castle, sort of like a mini-Dueling Dragons line, except scaled to the ride it leads to!
I like S:TE, all the B:TRs and Riddler too. Six Flags for all their faults makes excellent superhero/comic book theming when allowed to go all-out. (S:UE and BKF were decent attempts, but not as balls out as the Magic Mountain trio)
Austin-GO JEFF GORDON AND THE TITANS!!!!!!!
most reminiscent - the beast at pki
most immersive - dueling dragons at ioa
most exciting - millenium force at cp
overall favorite - alpengeist at bgw
Homey G. said:Correct me if I'm wrong Billiam, but Swoosh, I think the gators were 86'ed a while back. I don't remember them in December. :(
Now that I'm back, with tales of Elvis and my first successful POV (yes, we had park approval)...more on the Pres Con later...yes, the gators were moved away from the ride, and I'd *guess* it was a little over a year ago that they left "permanently" although they'd been in and out for a while. Sure it hurt the theming *a little*, but I figure it had to be done for the health of the animals (coins and litter most likely)...so it was undoubtedly a good move. The best thing they could do for that ride has NOTHING to do with the theming or station, and everything to do with ops...;)
The first one that comes to mind is Knoebels' Twister, and that is clearly my favorite, but I also have to admit a fondness for Kennywood's Racer...LOVE the woodies!
I always like stations where the exit ramp is close to the entrance ramp...esp. when the coaster is "re-rideable"....:)
Space Mountain is STILL a great station to keep the 8-10 year-old mind occupied for a half-hour or so....and *I* should know...;)
Amd I have to edit to mention Alpie, the coaster that got me going on the whole THEMING kick in the first place....and Flying Unicorn, nicked "the little girl's coaster" for it's My Little Pony effect...simply beautiful at night with the crystals ablaze! *** Edited 8/3/2004 3:39:08 AM UTC by rollergator***
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

It does seem like an event when the train pulls into the X station... unfortunately it seems like it's only an hourly occurance.
*LOL* A one train operation just makes it even all the more eventful ;)
- Legend (hearing the bell sound at night, especially during SRM, adds a lot of atmosphere)
- Volcano
- Rattler (love that huge wooden queue zigzagging up to the station - provides a nice view, too)
Giant Dipper at SCBB (a perfectly preserved old-school feel)
For non-coasters, my favorites are MIB and Indiana Jones.
1) batman the ride SFGAdv before removal of the theming
2) MF yes the lights and the music make the station
3) Batman and Robin the Chiller... 3 2 1 Goodbyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
2. Rocken Rollercoaster
3. Big Thunder Mt.(WDW)
4. Space Mt. (WDW)
5. Flight of Fear (PKI)
IOA has two more great stations in Hulk and DD, and BGT's Montu is nice as well. Another station that has heavy themeing is The Chiller at Great Adventure.

Never Has Gravity Been So Uplifting.
But for an all-time favorite, I cast a vote for Dorney's Thunderhawk station of years gone by- not that piece of crap that passes for a loading platform nowadays. It was cramped but the smell of the coaster being trapped within those walls is something that I can still smell if I close my eyes. And no, that's not the smell of B.O.!
I also like the Giant Dipper @ SCBB. How many coasters have a curved station?
